Whatever you think of esports, you have to admit that its popularity is on the rise. So it's understandable that more and more products tailored just for gamers are starting to appear on the market. We will compare their composition, price, taste and last but not least their effectiveness. Since I'm going to review two products at once, I'll first discuss each of them in detail and then compare them from that point of view. I will recommend which of them performs better on a given point, at least in my opinion.
One unique composition next to another
Since these are supplements tailored for gamers or if you want gamers and not for exercisers, substances such as beta alanine or creatine, you will only look in vain here. Of course, even with these products you will find substances like caffeine, citrulline or tyrosine. However, their ratio and quantity is a little different from the usual stimulants for exercise.
In the composition of Godlike we can find a total of 11 active substances, including caffeine, citrulline, taurine or tyrosine, i.e. substances that that somehow affect our nervous system, delay fatigue, increase concentration or relieve stress.
In addition to these, Godlike also contains the low-calorie soluble fibre inulin. It is known for its positive effect on blood sugar control, delaying the feeling of hunger and also for maintaining a healthy intestinal microflora.
Another very interesting substance is choline. Choline is one of the B vitamins that not only supports healthy brain development, but also improves brain function, reduces the risk of heart disease, blood fat levels and boosts metabolism.
But since Godlike is primarily designed for gamers, you may be asking yourself right nowSo how can it help you improve your memory, attention, concentration and focus? Don't worry, it contains ingredients such as ginkgo biloba, citicoline, bitter orange peel extract, brahmi and D-glucuronolactone for just these purposes . All of these substances support your memory, concentration or speed of thought.
Godlike is really great in terms of composition, what do you think? How will Madmonq fare next to it? Believe it or not, Madmonq goes about it a little differently, combining not only the same substances, but also a number of completely different ones.
Of the 15 active ingredients, it contains, like Godlike, caffeine, choline or tyrosine. But that's basically where any similarity between the two products ends. Madmonq also offers a unique combination of Siberian ginseng, Chinese clanoprasia, small-leaved bakopa and pink gentian.
All of these plants are so-called adaptogens, which are plant substances that increase the body's resistance to stress. Many of these plants also have antioxidant effects or positively influence the ability to learn. In addition to these, there are also vitamins B6 and B12, which delay fatigue, antioxidant European bilberry, theanine, which works synergistically with caffeine, and zinc and acetyl-L-carnitine.
As you can see each of these two supplements has something to offer and each of them goes about it a little differently. I personally like Madmonq a bit more in terms of composition, though, as it not only offers more amount of active ingredients, but in addition, you can find a unique combination of adaptogens that you would look for in Godlike in vain. It's a close call, but Madmonq wins in terms of composition.
An effect that will surely please you
I'm always a bit skeptical about products that support concentration and improve memory or learning, and this was no different with Godlike and Madmonq. But I have to admit that when it comes to their effectiveness, I was really pleasantly surprised.
Since both of these products are tailored for gamers, I figured it would be pretty cool if I tried them out as a gamer too. So I dusted off my Steam account, reinstalled Dot, kicked one of these products into gear, and went for it.
And the result was more than solid. After a couple of warm-up games I really got into it, and in the case of both Godlike and Madmonq the effect was really visible. I was focused, had, for me, pretty quick reflexes and the feeling of fatigue was basically non-existent even after a few hours of playing. I don't know if it was the excitement of playing something again or the well-known placebo effect. Whatever the case, however, with both products I could visibly feel their positive effects on my playing.
In addition to playing, I also tried both Godlike and Madmonq for learning, where the effect was a little worse, but still thinkm that I learned much better than after using Mindflow, which I found extremely disappointing during the testing.
I wouldn't be me if I hadn't tried these two stimulants for exercise as well. Of course, after them you won't feel such a rush as after classic "pre-workouts". Due to the absence of beta alanine, you won't even get that proverbial itch and you can forget about any extreme pumping. But as far as concentration is concerned, the training was more than great.
In this respect, I have to highlight Godlike, after which I was really extremely focused the whole training. So if you focus mainly on slow reps and maximal contractions in your training, during whichyou really need to concentrate, you won't go wrong with either of these products.
Great taste and convenient to use, although a little different in both cases
In terms of use, there is one quite rapid difference to note here. While you get Godlike in the classic powder form, Madmonq, on the other hand, is only available in the form of chewable tablets. For some, perhaps insignificant, yet quite a rapid difference that I just had to at least mention here.
But in neither case is there anything to worry about. Both supplements are taken without any problems. However, Madmonq is a little bit ahead here, as you don't need any shaker or water to take it, which of course cannot be said about the competing Godlike. And although I didn't have any serious problems with it during use eitherproblems, it's true that its solubility was a bit more problematic at times.
On the other hand, in terms of taste, Godlike leads for a change. The manufacturer offers a total of six flavours, and I personally I had the opportunity to try the blackberry flavour, which was absolutely perfect. I don't know if it was the maltodextrin, the steviol glycosides or the sucralose, but it doesn't change the fact that I have nothing to complain about here.
The Madmonq sweetened with xylitol, erythritol and also sucralose and steviol glycosides was of course also very good in taste. Unfortunately, its pleasant fruity taste changed towards the end into a slightly bitter aftertaste, which bothered me quite a lot especially at the beginning. Another small disadvantage compared to Godlike is that it doesn't offer more than one flavour.
