Have we stopped respecting doping?

Obviously, we are not coming up with anything revolutionary if we admit that doping is a common part of all strength sports. After all, there have been hundreds of people who've drummed this message into the world before us.

And so a topic that was until recently a complete taboo has turned into a topic that makesmany people have launched successful businesses and made a name for themselves on the Internet and beyond. Anabolics have long since ceased to be the preserve of top athletes, but withIt's also moved into the mainstream (and in many cases teenage) gym-goers.

Doping in the public eye

Thanks to many people talking about doping in public, we have come to see it as a very normal part of ourour lives and we talk about the use of banned substances as openly as we do about a new protein. We don't find it strange at all, we've always thought of the likes of Ronnie Colemanthose monstrous proportions weren't just because of chicken and that miracle gainer he recommends.

For those of us who go to the gym every day, work out our diets to the last detail, several times a day. stretching and dying on our workouts, we know how much hard work goes into seeing results.

But just how is it in the eyes of the general public?

Well, let's see, how many times have you almost fumed at the suggestionof your non-exercising friends who like to say: "He's pissed."If I sent it in, I could do it."?

But let's face it, these insinuations are mostly directed at people like the aforementioned Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates, or others. And suddenly there's a guy with a 40cm arm circumference in front of the camera saying something about testosterone use.

So on one side of the coin we are still talking about doping quite openly in our "insider" spheres, but on the other side our sport is going downhill in the eyes of those who fear the gym like the devil and just happen to stumble across similarly themed videos.

A matter of elite sport?

We probably don't need to kid ourselves that every top sport is first and foremost politics. And that's not just true of bodybuilding. Take Bolt, for example. No matter where he goes, clouds of people buy a ticket for him and scramble like crazy for his autograph, a handshake, or at least the closest possible contact. He raises popularity (and therefore profits) in a way that no one else can.

Just try to imagine the scandal that would arise from a positive doping finding in his tests. He would sink to the very bottom in the eyes of the public and no one would even care.

But doping has made its way out of the top sport, where profits run into hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, and into the most backwater village gyms. Teenage boys who've trained for two years and can't get natural to get rid of belly fat, they write to professional athletes asking what they' d recommend for their first session.

Many people, under some kind of "media pressure", have come to believe that without doping they can't achieve a betterand that their results will never be what I want them to be if they go the natural route. And it is here that it is worth digressing and pointing out the many natural exercisers who have failed in their categories whether it is Ales Lamka, Marek Zych, who naturally lifts over 300kg on the deadlift or other athletes.

It is important to remember that everything has its time and this is doubly true for doping. Until you understand your body one hundred percent as a natural, do you think steroids will save you and solve these problems? They won't.

Be aware of your genetics

Have you been working out for a while but the results still aren't what you want? Even though you're putting in all your time at the gym, are you taking baby steps forward? The answer is simple. Genetics.

Genetics plays a major role in everyone's success or failure. Not having good genetics for gaining muscle mass or for strength progression won't make up for 5g of testosterone a week. Maybe your genetics will be good for another sport, but not this one.

So why put your health at huge risk if you're never going to win against people with better genetics anyway? As depressing as this news may be, it 's good to be aware of these fundamental things.

If going to the gym fulfills you, keep doing it. Do it with joy and the knowledge that even though you are moving very slowly, you are still moving and improving both your body and your knowledge. But avoid anabolics, because there is nothing that can beat bad genetics.

Nandrolone tends to be one of the most abused steroids, especially for its positive effect on the joints.

Positive vs. negative effects

No matter how in-depth internet videos discuss the issue of steroid use, rarely do athletes mention the negative effects.

TIP: We covered the positive and negative effects of anabolic steroids in detail in this article!

I'm not trying to throw dirt on anabolics or advocate for them, it's just good to think about what's behind the imaginary curtain of these videos. How many of these vaunted athletes who are completely honest and don't play games tell youwill tell you that their urine during their first week on the boldendron resembled the color of Coke more than anything else? Did you learn from them about the importance of liver tests, blood tests, lipid profiles, estrogen and other substances?

One of the few people who talked openly about doping was Supertrainer, but ironically, his videos have several times fewer views than videos touting only the positive effects.

So if you're interested in the other side of the coin of doping, you should definitely check out this video from Supertrainer:

In conclusion, I would like to say that it is up to you when and if you start using anabolics. We at MyFitnessio are certainly not going to create articles about hormone abuse, nor are we going to recommend any to you.

So our only advice on this topic is that there are two sides to every coin, and before you get into the no It is important to know all the risks and, last but not least, to have respect for these substances.

We have selected the best quality overnight (micellar) proteins on the market 2025!
