A new pre-workout Nutrend PUMP has recently appeared on the market, which is gathering positive reviews quite quickly. In addition, it also impresses by offering unconventional flavours such as Bubble gum or Rainbow. In order to answer the question whether this novelty is worth following, let's quickly introduce it.
The ingredients look promising
Nutrend PUMP contains a really impressive list of active ingredients. In particular, we must mention a hefty dose of L-citrulline, beta-alanine, glycerol, choline, tyrosine or taurine. The contained substances and their amounts look quite decent at first glance, and it is no wonder that this pre-workout has been receiving mostly positive reviews so far. Many of you will also appreciate the absence of caffeine, which is an important requirement for some athletes. Unfortunately, the bubblegum flavor contains the controversial dye brilliant blue, which according to research on rats can cause malignant tumors. Apart from that, however, there is basically nothing to fault the composition at this point.
Unnecessarily small packaging
The manufacturer recommends mixing half a scoop (15 g) in 250 ml of water. Thus, one package contains only 15 doses, which is really not much. On the other hand, you won't manage to get too much of its flavor in that time if you don't choose well. Still, we would consider a slightly larger pack to be more practical.
At first glance, Nutrend PUMP looks like a very hilarious pre-workout that will definitely find its fans. It can attract attention thanks to its unusual flavours and high doses of active ingredients. However, whether it will be able to compete with proven products, we will only find out with time. If you are looking for a new pre-workout, Nutrend PUMP may be an interesting choice.
While the unconventional flavors are worth a try, compositionally you can definitely find better products. Check out our ranking of the best pre-workouts for inspiration, for example, or our comparison of the best pre-workouts without stimulants.
Why can you trust us?
Sport has been my lifelong passion, I have been close to it since I was a child. For a long time I was primarily involved in athletics, which also eventually led me to the gym. Every good sprinter knows that to get one tenth of a start, he must therefore sacrifice hundreds of hours in training. And it was this toil behind the curtain, which no one sees, that was my greatest passion.
Every kilo in the gym helped me to move a little closer to my goal and I fell in love with the gym very quickly. Even though I don't race anymore, nothing has changed in my relationship with uncompromising training.
