Mixit certainly needs no introduction. If you've been around the world of health food for a while, you'll remember a time when the idea of mixing your own muesli was just being born and developed. And back then, we were already happily trying out our own combinations. Over the last few years, however, the Mixit brand has grown substantially and now their repertoire includes a variety ofcereals, freeze-dried fruits, nuts, bars, granola and more. This time we got to try a selection of protein products offered by the company. And we'll share our assessment with you in this comprehensive review.
At the outset, it remains to remind you that within our website you may have already come across, for example, a review of Mixit Drinks, which we were very impressed with. Let's take a look at what we got the chance to try this time.
1. Minute Porridge - Protein and Chocolate
- Name: Minute Porridge - Protein and Chocolate
- Weight: 320 grams
- Our rating: 10/10
Upon opening the package, there were a number of products waiting for us to try. The first product that caught our eye, however, was the Minute Porridge, which was one of two products packaged in the new eco box, which is considerably less sturdy than the previous tubes. But what was the Minute Porridge hiding inside? Let's find out.

How do we rate the ingredients?
If you've ever looked at the ingredients of various protein porridges from supermarkets, you may well be slightly sceptical about these products. However, Mixit once again totally stands out because their minute porridge doesn't contain any unnecessary extra ingredients. Therefore, the base of the porridge is oatmeal enriched with protein chocolate, almonds and whey protein concentrate made using the CFM method. We can't really fault this composition, as it offers a lot of fibre, more than 12 grams of protein and only a minimum of simple carbohydrates per serving.
Our experience with the product
But just because Minute Porridge has the perfect composition doesn't mean you'll notice it in any negative way at all. On the contrary - you can prepare it in no time and it tastes absolutely delicious. We have to appreciate that it is not unnecessarily over-sweetened and the taste is of course dominated by the protein chocolate and the distinct taste of almonds. If you are bothered by the fact that the porridge is not sweet at all, you can flavour it with any sweetener from variousto maple or agave syrup to honey or anything else you like.
Conclusion
Minute porridge offers everything an athlete needs. Good ingredients, great taste and pleasant digestibility. Thanks to this, Minute Porridge can serve as an ideal meal before training or immediately as the name suggests, it really only takes a few seconds to prepare. And the taste experience is incredible.
2. Protein granola
- Name.
- Weight: 450 grams
- Our rating: 10/10
In the same tube, we also received a granola that, like the previously mentioned porridge, is sold in a chocolate and almond variant. This time, however, the packaging is much larger and bulkier. Let's take a look at it.

How do we rate the ingredients?
Again, we would be looking in vain for any negatives. This granola contains 21% protein right away and each serving has 4.2 grams of sugar, which is a very nice change from many supermarket granolas. In addition to the oatmeal, you will also find various seeds, dark chocolate shavings, almonds and whey crispies. Each serving thus contains more than 9 grams of fibre, over 10 grams of protein and a minimum of simple sugars. This is exactly what we think granola should look like. Of course, it also contains no palm oil or other potentially controversial ingredients.
Our experience with the product
At Mixit, they know very well that first of all, you eat with your eyes. That's why when you pour the granola into yoghurt or milk, it looks really appealing and you canYou can enjoy the sight of whole almonds, chocolate shavings, soya flakes and whey crispies. In terms of taste, again, all we can say is that the granola is flavour-matched to perfection, with the almonds blending gracefully with the dark chocolate flavour. Again, due to the low sugar content, it will please even those of you who are not completely sweet tooth. And those who will miss it with the product can again reach for one of the sweeteners or, for example, use fresh or dried fruit.
Conclusion
The second of the protein products did not disappoint us. It offers a fantastic taste, a good composition and just like the previously rated porridgegranola is very easy to prepare, as you just add it to yoghurt or milk. However, if you want to be a little more creative, you can take it as a snack on a hike or add it to a variety of smoothies, for example.
3. Adam Ondra's Protein Muesli
- Name.
- Weight: 350 grams
- Our rating: 9/10
The third product we covered in our package was the protein muesli of Adam Ondra, who is one of the key figures Mixit works with, along with Jirka Procházka. So let's take a look at this product created together with the phenomenal Czech climber.

How do we rate the composition?
Although it probably won't come as a surprise, we have to rate the protein muesli very positively. In addition to soy flakes and corn flakes, the muesli contains opiumalmonds (which can be a problem for Mixit protein products in generalfor someone who doesn't like almonds), sunflower seeds, whey crispies and strawberries along with blackcurrants, which are processed through a gentle freeze-drying process.
Our experience with the product
The absence of any chocolate makes this mix really light compared to previous onesand is a great light breakfast that you can go to the gym after. At the same time, we must again point out that the muesli is not unnecessarily sweetOn the contrary, thanks to the freeze-dried fruit, it has a slightly sour taste and is pleasantly crunchy. We particularly liked the muesli not only with plain milk, but also with various plant-based alternatives - especially oat milk.
Conclusion
If you like lighter mixes that are not really sweet at all, but instead contain a portion of theI'm sure you'll enjoy this protein mix. Fruit makes up 10% of the product and Adam Ondra's Protein Muesli with fruit and nuts is a great compromise between functional composition and good taste.
4. Jirka Procházka's Samurai Porridge
- Jirka Procházka's SamuraiPorridge: Protein & Fruit
- Weight: 500 grams
- Our rating: 10/10
As we mentioned in the previous product review, another of the sportsJirka Procházka, currently the best Czech MMA fighter. He also has his own porridge within Mixit, which we also got the chance to try.

How do we rate the ingredients?
The composition of Jirka Procházka's porridge is quite varied, but some things remain the same. Oatmeal and almonds are again the base, but you can still find whey crispies in the porridge. However, new ingredients such as palatinose, rice, powder from freeze-dried raspberries, strawberries and bananas, date powder, are also new.powder, instant oatmeal and ground guarana seed, which is a source of several stimulants such as caffeine, theobromine and theophylline. Ultimately, it is these atypical ingredients that make the porridge unique and they definitely have their place in it. Again, we have nothing to complain about the composition.
Our experience with the product
The preparation of this porridge is also relatively simple, as you just need50 grams of porridge in warm water or warmed milk and then stir. The prepared porridge has an intense red colour, which is not surprising given the ingredients. It is also delicious in terms of taste, just sweet and fruitywhich we consider to be a pleasant change from the chocolate variant rated above. Again, there are quite a few distinct nuances of almonds in the porridge, which some may not like, but we loved them.
Conclusion
What to say in conclusion? Another hilarious product that Mixit has in its repertoire, boasting a great formula and a fabulous taste. This porridge can serve great not only as a breakfast but also before a workout due to the content of the mentioned stimulants, as it is really easy to digest.
5. Mixitka by Jirka Procházka
- Name: Protein Mixitka by Jirka Procházka - Salted Caramel and Chocolate
- Weight: 43 grams
- Our rating: 9/10
As part of our test package, we were also given the opportunity to try Mixitka by Jirka Procházka. Mixitky in general are very likeable as bars, as they hide a large amount in a relatively small volume nutrients, so they're great for hiking, for example, or on various trips to and from the gym. Let's take a look at this particular variant.

How do we rate the ingredients?
Once again, we don't have much to fault the product in terms of composition. It contains a good portion of fiber coming from soluble corn fiber and fiber from chicory root. The protein source is a combination of micellar casein, CFM whey concentrate and protein chocolate. Peanuts and peanut butter, caramel powder and Himalayan salt were mainly used for flavouring. The bar also contains glycerol.
Our experience with the product
While we would venture to say that the previous products were objectively very tasty, Jirka Procházka's Mixitka had a rather specific taste and consistency that may not suit everyone. If you have any experience with protein bars, you may know that the občthey tend to be slightly "powdery", which is also the case with this Mixitka. We, on the other hand, didn't mind it at all and, as with other products, we have to appreciate the natural taste - the bars are quite flavourfulpeanuts, sometimes you can find a sweeter piece of protein chocolate and the overall impression is enhanced by Himalayan salt.
Conclusion
The Mixit bar does taste slightly specific, but we liked it. It offers a relatively small volume, but still manages to reliably fill you up. And when you add in a good price, you get a product that, from our perspective, is definitely worth a try. The mixies also come in a range of different flavours, so brownie, salted caramel or cashew and lemon lovers will be in for a treat.
Overall assessment
In conclusion, we have tried several different products from Mixit and have been absolutely delighted with all of them. Whether you decide to reach for porridges, muesli, granola or protein barsgranola bars, you can always look forward to a good taste and honest ingredients at the same time. So we were thrilled and will definitely look forward to more opportunities to try Mixit products!
