Yerba is one of the so-called superlatives. In Paraguay or Brazil alone, where Yerba grows , up to 95% of the population drinks it regularly every day.
In South America, Yerba maté is known as the "drink of the gods" and will win you over with its slightly bitter taste, which is the work of the saponins that Yerba contains. Since many of us need to stimulate our brains and boost mental performance on a daily basis, Yerba is a good choice for daily sipping. A single dose of Yerba (2-3 tablespoons) can be repeatedly topped up throughout the day, to sip while working or studying. Thanks to its properties, Yerba maté has now gained popularity all over the world, including Europe, where it can serve as a suitable alternative to coffee.

The rush of energy from a start is very similar to the one we all know from coffee. But then? There's nothing, no slump like with coffee. The effect is much longer, more consistent and smoother. With Yerba, one can learn comfortably, without feeling distracted and nervous, the mind is brightened, the flow of thought is coherent and it is possible to get into a flow state that could be described as a moment of totally focused motivation.
It is possible to pour Yerba several times without significantly losing the effects of Yerba. Normally we make up to 6 new infusions per batch of Yerba . Thus, there is no need to make a "new Yerba" for each additional calabash.
For traditional Yerba mate preparation, you will need a calabash and a bombilla, which you can purchase at BrainMarket. If you don't have a brewing kettle that you can adjust the temperature on, then feel free to get athermometer as well.
