Quinoa is a naturally gluten-free pseudocereal. It has a wide range of uses in the kitchen - it is suitable for sweet and savoury dishes. You can prepare amazing patties, breakfast porridge or serve it as a side dish.
Quinoa originated in South America, where it was and still is one of the main agricultural crops. Quinoa was even considered sacred by the Incas, and it's a bit of an exaggeration to say that we are similarly enchanted today. It is not for nothing that NASA is investigating it as a food suitable for astronauts on long space flights.
