Ingredients: wheat* (75 %), water.*product of controlled organic farming Packing: 250 ml Wheat syrup is especially suitable for baking. It is also the most suitable for baking in our organic bakery. It sweetens optimally, works well in doughs and does not change the resulting taste of the dish. Wheat syrup is neutral, sweet and rather thin. Wheat syrup contains 21% fructose, 27% glucose and 17% maltose. Tip: If you use wheat syrups to sweeten a dough or dish, you may find that the enzymes in the syrup make it thinner. To avoid this, boil the syrup briefly before using. For dishes that you want to sweeten as well as thicken (e.g. sauces), add the syrup first, boil and then thicken. If you are cooking porridge, add the syrup at the beginning of cooking, not at the end for flavouring.
