Stevia rebaudiana (abbreviated as stevia) is a plant native to South America, where it has also been used for centuries as a natural plant sweetener. The substances in the leaves of this plant produce a sweet taste, have zero energy value and are up to 250 times sweeter than sugar. The leaves of stevia also contain protein, fibre, carbohydrates, iron, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc and vitamins A and C, among others.
1 drop replaces 1 sugar cube or one teaspoon of sugar. Daily maximum of 5 drops for every 15kg of body weight. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
