Recently, we have been reviewing primarily proteins that are aimed more at the general population. Proteins that may not be high quality at all costs, but taste good and are highly praised in the eyes of the general public. That's why I decided to test a protein that I think ranks among the absolute top on our market. A protein that is only for the most demanding individuals who will not accept compromise.
That is why I have tested Isoprime CFM from Amix. How do you think the protein stood up in our review? Is it worth paying extra for a more expensive protein of this type? How does it taste? We'll cover all of this in our review.
Content of the review
I have rather avoided the Amix brand for a long time, even though I know it is one of the most respected brands in Europe. Recently, however, I decided to give this brand a chance and I must say that it has not disappointed me. It's true that the manufacturer likes to use controversial sweeteners or dyes, but after a more thorough analysis I got the impression that the ingredients of Amix are not bad at all.

Protein composition with minor flaws
The main and only protein source here is whey isolate, processed using the CFM method. During the CFM method, the protein retains all of its health benefits and protein fractions that are beneficial to the human body. These fractions boost immunity, improve digestion, improve the ability to build lean muscle mass and much more.
In the formula we find an added multi-enzyme complex called Digezyme. This is a blend of a total of five digestive enzymes that further simplifythe digestion of the final product to ensure maximum usability. Specifically, these enzymes are amylase, cellulase, protease, lactase and lipase.
Unspecified artificial flavourings are added to the protein. In addition, there are also added colouring agents, which may be of natural or artificial origin depending on the flavour chosen. In no case, however, are these substances in any way dangerous to the body.
Furthermore, the protein contains the emulsifier soya lecithin, the thickeners xanthan gum or guar gum, which are natural stabilisersThese are commonly used in today's food industry and are completely harmless to the body. Guar gum, on the other hand, is beneficial to the human body, as it is a natural fibre that improves our ability to digest or even keeps us feeling full after eating.
Isoprime CFM is sweetened mostly with sucralose. This is supplemented in smaller proportions by Acesulfame, which has its own specific sweetening effect. This is a rather controversial sweetener that often comes up in debates because it might not be ideal for the human body. However, there have been many studies that have confirmed the safety of Acesulfame, so there is nothing to worry about, it is completely harmless in this amount.

Perfect nutritional values
The nutritional values are identical for all the flavours chosen. The amount of protein per 100g of the product is above average 90%, which is not seen in the competition. As for the fat and carbohydrate content per 100g of product, both macronutrients reach a value of 1.8 grams. The nutritional values of the protein are almost perfect and are more than suitable for the diet.
Compared to competing isolates, the protein content is well above average. The protein content of competitors is usually around 84%, sometimes even less.
A great move by the manufacturer is the fact that they fully disclose the specific amino acid spectrum of the protein, which only confirms the quality of the ingredients used.

Flavours pleasantly surprised us
Since this is a protein that contains such a high amount of protein, I was concerned about what the product would taste like. But to be honest, the first time I tasted it, this fear fell away. The proteins are all great tasting and I was always excited to try a new flavor.
I tried the protein in several flavors:
- Piña Colada (9/10) is a very unusual flavor, and the one I was looking forward to the most. Right from the first sip, there is a nice sweet taste really reminiscent of piña colada as you know it. More sensitive individuals might detect a slight hint of chemistry here, but I personally didn't mind it at all and thoroughly enjoyed the flavour.
- Chocolate (10/10) is the most common and used flavour, but it was very good. When added to the porridge, it created the perfect granola flavour. Even when added to plain water, there was a distinct sweetish chocolate flavour that you couldn't get enough of.
- Chocolate-coconut (9/10) as a whole tastes great, but it should be noted that the taste of coconut largely escapes me. There is a slight hint here, but if you're getting the protein because you love the distinct coconut taste, you'll be disappointed.
- Mocca-chocolate-coffee (9/10), here I didn't know what to expect from the flavour but I was absolutely delighted with it. A slight chocolate note accompanied by a bitter coffee undertone adds a completely different dimension to the protein. For coffee lovers, this is the best choice.
- Peanut-Chocolate-Caramel (9/10), personally I absolutely adore caramel flavours and it was no different here. This is probably my favourite flavour of all. Once again there was a nice chocolate undertone accompanied by a hint of peanut caramel. However, with BiotechUSA's IsoWhey Zero, the chocolate caramel flavor was even a bit better.
- Strawberry (6/10) was a big disappointment. The taste overall wasn't bad at all, but the strawberry wasn't prominent here at all, unfortunately this flavor didn't appeal to me.
- Pistachio (8/10) isn't as pronounced as I would have liked personally, but on the other hand the flavour is very good. The hint of pistachio is definitely there and cannot be missed, the overall taste is sweet and very pleasant.
- Cookies and Cream (9/10) is another flavour that I rank among the most successful. I'm not a fan of cookies and cream flavours, but here I have to admit that I liked it a lot. Usually this flavour is very over-sweetened and chemical, but here all the ingredients are perfectly balanced.
- White chocolate (7/10) is a variant I'm not a big fan of, but to be objective, it's a very good one.The flavour is really reminiscent of the real white chocolate you buy in the shop. The flavours are perfectly balanced and it is absolutely delicious in milk.
- The banana (7/10) slightly disappointed me as I love the colourful banana flavour, which was sadly missing here. I'm sure some people will like this flavour, it's not bad at all, but I was expecting a bit more.
- The vanilla (6/10) was unfortunately not at all prominent and had little to it. I would have liked the vanilla flavour to be more varied and the taste to be more vanilla, so I don't recommend this flavour too much.
- Berry (8/10) is another one of those less traditional flavours that can brighten up a person's day. This flavour was pretty good overall and after the first sip there is a strong taste of forest fruits. I recommend mixing the protein in water and letting it cool for a while, the berry flavour will stand out beautifully.

Easy digestibility and solubility of the protein
I followed the manufacturer's instructions, mixing 28 grams of protein (1 scoop) in 200-350 ml of water. The resulting drink was not creamy, on the contrary, it had a watery consistency, did not foam and gave off a pleasant sweet smell. When mixing the protein in the porridge, the consistency was too watery for my taste, so be careful, put less water in the porridge.
The protein was tried in yoghurt and cottage cheese, everything was absolutely smooth, the consistency was not disturbed in any way. The protein did not foam, did not form lumps and was fully instant.Since it is a very pure whey protein isolate, which contains a minimum of fats and carbohydrates, the digestibility of the product is unbeatable.

The best time to use protein?
Isoprime CFM contains a very easily and quickly absorbed protein, making it best suited for use post-workout.
You can also use it at any time of the day for example in porridges, yoghurts or other sweet recipes, but be careful, the protein produces a very watery consistency. It could damage the creaminess of the porridge.
As it is a very high quality whey isolate, it is not recommended to heat process the protein in any way, as this will destroy any the health benefits found within the protein, as well as the added digestive enzymes and other micronutrients.

Top quality at a great price
The manufacturer offers the protein in the largest pack of 2000 grams on its official website for a total of , where one scoop will cost you , which is a comparable price with "ordinary" whey proteins on the market.
Such an isolate BiotechUSA Iso Whey Zero will cost you even less ( per serving), but you have to put up with less protein per 100 grams. Thus, we rank Amix IsoPrime CFM as one of the best proteins for your diet with a nice price tag.

Final rating
So is Isoprime CFM worth investing in? As I said at the very beginning of the review, this protein ranks among the absolute top. It surprised me a lot with its nutritional values, its composition and its taste, and even I myself didn't expect how much I could fall in love with it.
The overall feeling of the protein? I am absolutely delighted. Of course, there are a few flaws in the ingredients, but when I evaluate the product as a whole, it comes out absolutely great. If you're looking for a whey isolate that comes out almost perfect in terms of price to quality ratio, Amix's Isoprime CFM is the one for you.
