The composition does not impress, but neither does it offend
How angelic is Angel Dust? Not really. In terms of composition, it's rather average and didn't impress us with anything. We would appreciate, for example, the presence of citrulline, which significantly promotes blood circulation to the muscles during training. One dose of Angel Dust looks like this:
- 1,600 mg of beta alanine - supports performance, delays fatigue and is responsible for tingling under the skin
- 600 mg of betaine - supports digestion, used in connection with promoting muscle growth
- 400 mg of L-tyrosine - enhances the effect of caffeine and is a precursor to adrenaline and noradrenaline
- 200 mg GABA - helps the nervous system function properly and positively influences mood
- 200 mg of caffeine - can give you a good kick and improve concentration
- 100 mg of choline bitartrate - it is an effective nootropic, supports muscle and nerve function
- 75 mg Alpha GPC - can effectively energize and support recovery after training
- 50 mg of L-theanine - enhances the effect of caffeine
- 5 mg Niacin - a source of caffeine, helps fight fatigue
- 1.4 mg of vitamin B6 - supports proper functioning of the nervous system
A pleasant surprise is the absence of harmful colourings and flavourings, which are unfortunately quite common in pre-workout supplements. The most controversial substance contained is quinoline yellow, which, although it maymay cause inattention in children, but for adults this substance is fine.
Surprisingly good taste
I have to admit that the vast majority of pre-workouts don't taste good to me at all. They taste too intense, they often have an artificial aftertaste, you just don't drink them for pleasure. But I have to admit that the citrus/peach flavour doesn't taste bad at all. There is a hint of artificiality, of course, but surprisingly it is not very pronounced. It is better to use a rather smaller amount of water in the preparation, because it is tooAngel Dust is quite intense in flavour, the final taste is better when it is a little more concentrated. I didn't have any problems with the mixing either, so I rate the preparation and taste very positively.
Training with Angel Dust is worth it
Very often, when one tastes a pre-workout for the first time, it really messes with one's mind. If you're a newbie and you don't have much experience with pre-workouts, you'd better start with half a batch. Angel Dust kicks hard and works really well. One dose is only 4.5 grams, which is definitely not too much. Still, I wouldn't recommend exceeding the recommended daily dose, although I know that many people won't stick to the dosage as a matter of principle. Of course, it's not worth drinking a product with such a high caffeine content in the later afternoon, otherwise you'll probably end up with a sleepless night.
Great value for money
One dose of Angel Dust from Skull Labs will set you back just over 8 crowns. I personally find this price more than acceptable for a product that really kicks your butt. Taking into account that beginners and people who are not very used to pre-workoutsa half dose will be enough, Angel Dust is one of the market leaders in terms of price/performance ratio. One pack contains up to 60 doses, which will easily last for two months. It is therefore a very good deal, especially if you do not want to spend unnecessarily when buying supplements. The combination of affordability and awesome effect will undoubtedly lure a large number of potential customers.
Conclusion.
Angel Dust is a supplement from which I didn't have high expectations at all, but it turned out to be a very solid pre-workout. The ingredients have a few flies, but on the other hand, it doesn't contain anything that would make one wince. The taste is above average and the final effect is really great. All this for a very reasonable price. Ultimately, I can therefore easily recommend it to all enthusiastic athletes who need a good kick before training.
Angel Dust is not the right nut? No problem. We've tried countless pre-workouts and picked out the very best. From our ranking of the best pre-workouts, there's sure to be one for everyone. Beast Virus, for example, did really well.
