I have tried dozens of different branched chain amino acids in my years in the gym. When I discovered Prom-IN's BCAA Synergy some time ago, I knew these were the ones.
Do you know what their solubility is? How do they taste? What are their ingredients and are they even worth buying? Find out the answers to these and many other questions in the following review.
Content of the review
You've also probably noticed that Synergy BCAAs took the top spot in our ranking of the best instant BCAAs and you've been asking us about them regularly. That's why we are finally bringing you a separate review of this product.

Unbeatable formula
Synergy BCAAs contain a blend of key amino acids formulated for maximum support of your performance, protection of muscle mass from catabolism and proper recovery.
In one serving of the product (11g) you will find:
- 5g of BCAAs that protect muscle mass from catabolism, support protein synthesis and improve recovery
- 3g of A-AKG for better production of growth hormone and nitric oxide, which improves muscle blood flow during training
- 2g of glutamine to support the immune system, prevent catabolism and many other benefits
Amazing flavors
Synergy BCAAs are available in nine great flavours (peach, lemon/mochacola, grapefruit, raspberry, watermelon, orange, cherry and green apple) for you to choose from. In order to make our review as objective as possible, we have tried all the flavours completely for you and here is our rating:
- Coke, which although it sounds like a totally artificial flavor, doesn't taste nearly as artificial as some of the others. On the contrary. I personally found it very refreshing, I can imagine drinking it even in summer during the day with ice. Surprisingly, it's not too sweet either, which suits me perfectly.
- Lemon and mint is a flavour I resisted for a relatively long time, but I ended up liking it perhaps even more than Coke. It's definitely not sweet in any way, the lemon flavor is absolutely noticeable. The mint is fairly bland in this flavor, but again, it is a very refreshing option that you'll be happy to have at any time of the day.
- The orange also impressed me within reason. While it was noticeably sweeter than the previous two flavours, it was definitely it wasn't as extremely artificial as some of the other flavors.
- The cherry already had a very artificial and over-sweetened effect on me. Like the other flavours, I used to mix it in 300ml of water, but in the end I had to add it. After that, the flavor was not as intense, but the artificial aftertaste was still noticeable.
- Green apple was another over sweetened and artificial acting flavour. Plus, compared to the others, for some unknown reason, it foamed significantly more and the foam lasted a really long time in the shaker.
- The raspberry was really extremely sweet and artificial by my standards, and as with the cherry I had to add more water to dilute it.
- The grapefruit was a flavor that I had really high expectations for, however I was ultimately disappointed. Like the previous one, it felt very artificial to my taste.
- Watermelon had exactly the same problem as all the previous flavours from my point of view. Again, sweet and artificial.
- Peach has the exact same problem. Although I really don't like to repeat myself, I can't really fault anything else. Solubility was no problem, foaminess as well. If only the flavors didn't taste so artificial and sweet.
So if I had to make a decision, I would definitely invest in either the Cola flavor or the Lemon and Mint flavor, becausenot only were they the best at BCAA Synergy, but they were also some of the best tasting amino acids I've ever tried.
Easy to prepare and instantly absorbable
A huge benefit of BCAA Synergy is its easy solubility. They dissolve almost instantly in a shaker, they don't foam or form lumps, so they are suitable for immediate consumption.
As we discuss in our detailed article on BCAAs, branched chain amino acids do not go through through the small intestine, but are almost immediately available as an energy source for our muscles. With BCAA Synergy, absorption is seamless and fast thanks to the instant form, so from my own experience, I recommend taking them immediately before or during training.
Benefits in points

Final evaluation
BCAAs may not form the basis of supplementation, but if you train frequently and need to boost recovery, they are definitely a good choice.
For me, BCAA Synergy is the most ideal supplement because it offers a combination of three proven substances (glutamine, arginine and BCAAs) that before training will maximally help not only the recovery and protection of muscle mass, but also the immune system, blood circulation, glycogen resynthesis, etc.
Moreover, the price for them is not at all exorbitant, and therefore more or less every student can afford them. We also attach a table with the best current price.
