Greens represent a broad and nowadays quite well-known category of supplements, which did not escape our attention in our comparison of the best greens. And although there are a number of supplements in this category, only some are really worth trying - and one of those is undoubtedly Blendea's Supergreens, which will be the topic of this review. How do we rate the ingredients? And are they worth the price at all? All this you will find out today.
Content of the review
At the outset, it remains to add that you have already seen Blendea products in many of our previousreviews - for example, we looked at Blendea Supercoffee or the rather revolutionary liposomal magnesium. But now back to the topic at hand.
How do we rate the composition of Blendea's Supergreens?
If you already have some experience with products in this category, you will know that various manufacturers rely on very different formulations and each supplement is quite different. Blendea, however, relies on simple formulas that place maximum emphasis on the quality of the ingredients used. In the composition you will therefore find green barley, young wheat, spirulina and chlorella, all of which are certified organic. The other ingredients vary depending on the flavour chosen, but it should be noted that none of the variants is compositionally bad - for example, mango contains natural mango flavouring in addition to the quartet mentioned above, and steviol glycosides have been used to sweeten it. In terms of composition, there is certainly nothing to complain about.
How are Supergreens used?
Supergreens are a bulk supplement and therefore must always be prepared correctly when used regularly. The ideal time to take this product is in the morning before the first meal. For starters, a dose equivalent to about 3 grams (one tablespoon) of thebut you can gradually increase to two teaspoons (or 6 grams) per day. It is then a good idea to mix this measured portion with 200 ml of water, juice or a smoothie. Mix properly in a blender, shaker or other container and you are done. It is then best to drink the greens immediately after preparation.
What is the best thing to mix it with?
As we mentioned in the previous paragraph, you can mix Supergreens with a variety of liquids from water to smoothies. And it should be noted that the taste may not be to everyone's liking at first (we'll cover this in detailin the next paragraph), so if you bought three packs at once Supergreens and you feel that you don't like them at all, it's definitely better to startmix them with a smoothie or some juice, where the specific taste of the product will not be so pronounced. But after a while you can get used to it and you might not mind it even with water.
How do Supergreens taste?
Within this Supergreens review, we can't leave out the taste, which is specific to say the least. If you've never tried any similar supplement, it's very difficult to somehowto approximate, but in general, like other greens, Supergreens tastes slightly grassy to herbal. Whether you try any of the mango, plum or woodland blend variants we tried, you canYou can enjoy a relatively sweet taste, but it still doesn't completely overpower the specific flavour and aroma of the greens. But chances are, once you get used to Supergreens, you won't mind. It can be quite challenging to get started, though.
How do we rate the price of Supergreens?
If Supergreens have any disadvantage, it's the relatively high price, because for two packs (Blendea sells them in a 1+1, 2+2 or even 3+3 sale) you pay 598 crowns, which is definitely not too little. Even more so, buying Supergreens may seem rather disadvantageous when it is only two 90 gram packs. On the other hand, however, it should be added that one pack contains 30 doses (if you decide to use one spoon), and thus the aforementioned six hundred you will pay right away for a dose for two months. And this is already quite affordable, because one dose comes out to less than 10 crowns.
Final assessment: is it worth a try?
In conclusion, perhaps it only remains to summarize what has already been said in this review. Supergreens represent a very high quality product that can definitely make sense and, for example, if it does not eatyou are not breakfasting, it can be a great alternative to prepare some light smoothie with oatmeal and the addition of Supergreens. If you don't mind paying a little extra for them, we definitely recommend trying them out. You can also compare them to some of the products posted as part of our comparison of the best Supergreens.
