It probably goes without saying that supplementing with quality vitamins and minerals is extremely important not only for athletes. There are a number of reasons for this, and we have mentioned some of them in our article on the most important supplements, for example. In this review, let's take a look at Performance Greens, which can be quite an interesting alternative to classic vitamins and minerals from capsules.
Content of the review
At the very beginning it is worth noting that de facto a very similar product is also available from Czech Virus. In this review, however, we will be talking about a supplement from BrainMax.
How do we evaluate the composition?
First of all, we should look at the composition, which is probably the main reason for buying any supplement. In fact, the basis of Performance Greens is made up of 12 superfoods, which with their different properties bring the product its unique use. In terms of quantity, young wheat is the most abundant, followed by chlorella, spirulina and ceremonial matcha tea. These 4 substances are also represented in organic quality. The combination of chlorella, spirulina and matcha tea ensures a high amount of chlorophyll as well as many different antioxidants. In addition, however, the product also contains mint, used for the normal functioning of the gastrointestinal tractgastrointestinal tract, baobab to optimise cognitive function, moringa, turmeric, alfalfa or ashwagandha. In addition, you can also find a mixture of electrolytes containing magnesium, potassium, sodium and chloride, as well as trace elements from seaweed (called Aquamin). Other than that, chicory fiber makes up a large part of the product, and in the ingredients you can also find citric acid and steviol glycosides used to make the mixture.

Hassle-free dosing
Since the package also includes a measuring cup, it's worth noting that the dosing and preparation of the product itself are quite simple. Just take one scoop, which represents 10 grams of product, and mix it with 200 to 250 ml of water. It is ideal to use a shaker, because without it, the mixture is very difficult to dissolve. Ideally, you should then drink Performance Greens regularly once a day, and we would recommend taking it right after waking up on an empty stomach. As some consumers have experienced, for example, mild problems with bloatingwe recommend testing your tolerance on a half dose for the first few days.
How does the product taste?
Probably the most controversial feature of this product is undoubtedly the taste. While some people absolutely love it, others find it unbearable. Honestly, we have to say that we didn't find Performance Greens to be a great tasting product at first.and as we got used to them over time, we even dare to say that we liked them. However, you have to take into account that they have a rather sweet taste, in which they are clearlytraces of 'green' nutrients such as chlorella and spirulina, which can naturally be smelled from the products. However, if you make Performance Greens with a little lemon juice and pour them over ice cubes, it's definitely manageable. Especially for the proportions of these green supplements, the taste is really good. Don't expect any extra miracles though.

How do we rate the price?
At the time of writing this review, one pack comes out to 699 crowns, and considering that you will find 33 doses in it, you can count on paying about 21 crowns per dose. Unfortunately, it should be noted that the product is hard to compare, because too many such supplements do not exist. However, the high price is definitely justified for us just by the fact that 10 of the contained ingredientsThe remaining two are electrolytes and minerals represented in the best possible forms.
Does this supplement work?
This brings us to our own experience with this supplement. We have to come right out and admit at this point that we have been completely satisfied with Performance Greens. The first thing you'll notice after a few days is the positive effect on your digestion, which will make you feel really good after a while. Of course, the gut microbiome then influences a whole host of other factors and ultimately Performance Greens works on many fronts. Thanks to the antioxidants, led by vitamin C, you can also enjoy immune system support, and thanks to the mint, you will in turn sleep well.
Final assessment
If you're not comfortable with traditional multivitamin supplements, or simply just feel like trying something new, Performance Greens are definitely a good choice. Once you get used to their specific taste, you'll find that you really enjoy drinking them, even though you may find their taste quite atypical after the first taste.
