The CBD star brand has long been one of the most reliable CBD producers on our market. This Czech company grows its own hemp and prides itself on the maximum quality of its products. We have already tried the classic CBD drops from this manufacturer - you can read about them in our CBD star review. But today we're going to look at something a little more interesting. We were given a pair of CBD products containing medicinal mushrooms CBD Immunity Adaptogens and CBD Active Adaptogens to try.

There is beauty in simplicity
It's a widespread trend among dietary supplement manufacturers to add as many substances as possible to their product formulations to make it look good on the packaging. But in the end, most of the active ingredients are contained in absolutely minimal amounts, so they don't actually have any effect. This is not the case with CBD star's adaptogens. Both products contain a combination of CBD and two active ingredients. However, these are contained in amounts that really make sense. In addition, there are no fillers or other unnecessary additives.
The Active variant contains 325 mg of Lion's mane, 325 mg of Cordyceps and 10 mg of full-spectrum CBD per capsule. This combination supports cognitive function, helps relieve stress and fatigue, induces an overall sense of well-being and helps replenish energy. In contrast, the Immunity variant combines 325 mg of reishi mushroom, 325 mg of chaga mushroom and 10 mg of full-spectrum CBD oil. Together, these ingredients support the body's healthy response to stress, support the immune system and, most importantly, have an antioxidant effect. In the end, we have to rate the composition as an A, because both products contain a highactive substances in high quantities and, on the contrary, there are no unnecessary additives.
Easy dosage and use
The manufacturer recommends taking the Active variant in the morning, while the Immunity variant in the morning. Exactly where the boundary between morning and mid-morning lies, however, is a question. Personally, I don't see a problem with taking both products at the same time. After all, the manufacturer of the Immunity variant states that it should be taken on an empty stomach, which for most people will mean right after waking up. The daily dose in both cases is one capsule, so one whole pack will last you for a month. Speaking of the packaging, I have to commend the perfect design of the glass container in which the capsules are hidden. Finally, I will add that the manufacturer also recommends using both products in combination with classic CBD oil. What has been our experience with CBD star medicinal mushrooms?
Evaluating the effects of substances like CBD or adaptogens is quite tricky. A certain limitation in this regard is the legislation that does not allow to present all the positive effects of some substances. However, the fact that these substances affect each of us differently is also very important. Even each of us may experience different effects from the same product depending on many factors (fatigue, stress...). At the same time, it should be remembered that most of the effects only become apparent after prolonged use. Therefore, I will not write how I immediately after taking it I felt an extreme increase in energy, a drop in stress and so on. However, I can say that personally I was very satisfied with both products and I definitely did not suffer from lack of energy in the period after taking them. So from my own experience I can highly recommend CBD medicinal mushrooms.
The higher price is a negative
Last but not least, we have to look at the price of both products. In this respect, our previous praise must give way a little. In fact, on a per daily dose basis, both products are quite expensive. But it is true that CBD oils and drops are generally quite expensive, so it is not really a disaster in this category. If we also take into account the high content of medicinal mushrooms, the final price is not that bad. On the other hand, most adaptogens come out much cheaper. In CBD terms, the medicinal mushrooms from CBD star are quite good, but among adaptogens they are already among the heaviest. So when shopping, consider whether you're looking for CBD or medicinal mushrooms in the first place.
Final assessment
I rate CBD Immunity Adaptogens and CBD Active Adaptogens very positively. The purchase price is a bit higher, but given the high medicinal mushroom content, it is justified in my opinion. In terms of effects, it is of course difficult to draw any big conclusions, because it is impossible to say for suretion whether the increase in energy is not simply due to the fact that one slept better that day instead of taking CBD. Personally, however, I was very satisfied with both products and can highly recommend them.
