The composition is second to none
There are a number of different products on the market to choose from. For example, our editorial office once tested CBD oil from Bulk Powders, which was transparent. And of course our experience was very negative, so we were a bit skeptical about CBD star products as well. But that turned out to be unnecessary because this is a product on a whole other level. All of their products contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids and then they vary in terms of what extra terpenes they contain. So you will find variations in the range:
- Natural - The imaginary gateway to the world of CBD. It is suitable for people who have never had any CBD and want to experience the widest possible spectrum of promised effects.
- Night - A combination of cannabinoids and the terpenes myrcene, beta carophylene, limonene, linalool and alpha-humulene. These terpenes have actually been the subject of scientific studies demonstrating that they have analgesic effects, for exampleand may be directly involved in improving the quality of sleep in people who have sleep problems.
- Focus - This product is designed primarily for focus. Mostly similar terpenes are represented here, but in addition there is alpha-pinene in this variant, which according to scientific studies may actually be behind better memory, among other things.
- Day - This supplement contains terpinolene in addition to cannabinoids, where scientific studies show that for certaincertain people, and some research writes about its effect on positive mood.
The taste is of course typically cannabis
Believe it or not, there are actually CBD drops today that don't even remotely resemble cannabis. This CBD star has the upper hand again. Their drops come in a dark glass that protects the oil and as soon as you unscrew the cap, you can smell the extremely strong hemp scent. The flavor is just as strong, and since the oil is dripped under the tongue and left to work, you'll be smelling and tasting it for a long time to come. This may be a bit of a hindrance for some, but as long as you take CBD in the morning or evening before brushing your teeth, you shouldn't mind.
What effects have we seen?
In order to be able to give you the most comprehensive review possible, we have tried all 4 products available. And the clear winner for us was the Night variant, which we took about half an hour before bedtime. Although some clinical studies work with high doses of CBD, several people in our editorial team have noticed a positive effect on sleep. Honestly, though, it's hard to gauge how much of this could have been just placebo.
The only problem was the higher price
We've tested dozens of products over the several years of our magazine's existence and have found that while you usually have to pay extra for quality products, it's definitely worth it. And that's the case with CBD Star. One pack of the Natural variant costs , the others with extra terpenes cost even . That's a lot of money, especially when you consider that the pack lasts less than a month. On the other hand, for us, it's a much better investment than buying half the price of CBD and not really noticing any effect.
What's the real deal with CBD? Is it a scam?
As you probably know, our magazine always tries to convey objective information and if some products don't make sense, we won't recommend them to you. Admittedly, many people are skeptical about CBD, and scientific studies so far have not really shown many effects have not been confirmed - usually a combination of CBD and THC is used for better effect, but that is not legal. Or many times higher dosages are used to achieve the desired effects. But this is because CBD has only been booming for the last few years and scientific studies have so far tested it primarily on animals.
