A lot has been written about CFM Instant Whey 80 during its existence, but a separate review of this product has been missing on the web until now.
So what is CFM Instant Whey 80 really like? Does it face its popularity rightfully or is it just a common laggard product? Which flavours are good and which ones are better to avoid? Find out this and much more in the review below.
Content of the review
To make my review as objective as possible, I tried the protein in several different flavoursand pack sizes to explore not only the taste, but also its usability and other important aspects.
The main benefits of CFM Instant Whey 80 in points:
- per serving
- Whey is processed using the CFM method
- Contains a good spectrum of amino acids
- Available in 12 flavours
- Protein contains 7 enzymes to aid digestion

Difficult to prepare due to lower solubility
Practically speaking, I followed the same procedure as always when preparing this protein. I poured 300ml of water and one 30g scoop of protein into a shaker. However, even after a few tens of seconds of preparation, lumps appeared on the sieve of the shaker. I thought that the fault was only in my disposable sample, I could have left it exposed to sunlight, or moisture could have entered it somewhere. But when I looked at other users' reviews on Heureka.cz, some of them had the same problem.
It should also be added here that some reviewers complain of intestinal discomfort after consuming this protein. However, this is a very individual matter, for example, I did not encounter this phenomenon with any of the doses of CFM Instant Whey 80. Digestibility for me was without any problems, the protein suited my digestion perfectly.
Very good composition and nutritional values
CFM Instant Whey 80 protein is available in four packs - as a single 30g sample, a pack of 20 single samples, a small 1000g pack and a large 2270g pack. Personally, I consider the availability in these variants a big plus, because thanks to them there is something for everyone. As for the ingredients, the only source of protein is instant whey protein concentrateproduced using the CFM method, which is currently one of the best production methods.
This protein is further enriched with a complex of seven digestive enzymes to ensure maximum digestibility of the product. The additional (added) ingredients vary depending on the individual flavoursch, but most of them are flavourings, thickeners, natural colours and other ingredients. Stevia was used to sweeten 97% of the ingredients, the rest is sucralose.
Too artificial taste
If there's one thing I can't figure out the taste of, it's Extrifit's proteins. I've tried several flavours, but none of them impressed me much:
- Vanilla (8/10) was probably the best of all the flavours I tested. It tasted a bit artificial and strong, but at the same time it was thick and digestible. I'm not sure it tasted like vanilla, but it suited me and I always looked forward to the protein after my workouts. So I give it an 8 out of 10.
- Cookies (2/10) was already considerably worse and I dare say it is one of the least tasty proteins I have ever had. Like the vanilla, it was dense, but the taste was extremely artificial and over-sweetened. I have never eaten a cookie that tasted even remotely like this protein. When mixed in water, I was usually unable to drink the protein. Therefore, I give it 2 out of 10.
- The strawberry (5/10) was a strange and over-sweetened flavor that didn't taste much like strawberries to me. Other than the thick consistency, it has no other positive qualities, but it still tasted better than the cookies, and I rate it 5 out of 10 for that reason.
In addition to these three flavors, the protein is also available in caramel, chocolate, banana, strawberry, pine strawberry , strawberry-banana, chocolate-coconut flavours or in white yoghurt, coconut milk and iced coffee.
Absolutely average price
The price of Extrifit CFM Instant Whey 80 is more or less average compared to other products on the market. Of course, there are cheaper variants, such as CFM Evolution (the winner of our testtest of protein supplements), but on the other hand there are considerably more expensive supplements.
What alternatives would I recommend?
If you have been meaning to buy this protein, I won't discourage you from doing so. Extrifit makes some absolutely excellent supplements - even Agrezz, for example, knowsthe winner of our test of the best pre-workout supplements.
But this protein, in my opinion, was not a success at all. As a suitable alternative, I would definitely recommend one of the top-rankedproteins or CFM Evolution, whose review you can also read on our website .
Final evaluation
Although I always try to be equally objective when writing all my reviews, I don't see too many positives about CFM Instant Whey 80 and therefore not too many reasons to buy it. The flavors are over-sweetened, the protein causes stomach problems for many peopleus, it is less soluble and the price is mediocre at best.
In order for there to be anything positive about this review, it should be noted that in my personal experience, digestibility was uneventful, probably due to the digestive enzyme content. I would probably recommend the protein to anyone who likes a more artificialbut likes to choose from several different flavours.
