I've been looking at this multi-ingredient protein from Extrifit for a long time, but I've always preferred to reach for another brand like Czech Virus or Prom-IN, which I've always been satisfied with. However, I have now decided to try this multi-ingredient protein and I will write an objective review straight away so that you can get an idea of what to expect from this product.
I found a lot of praise for Extrifit's Multiprotein 80 Long on the internet, so I was curious to try it myself. I know from personal experience that this manufacturer usually has one big problem with proteins and that is taste.
So how did this protein hold up in taste tests? How did it hold up against the competition? Is it worth investing in? You will find out everything in today's review.

I certainly don't need to introduce the Extrifit brand to anyone, it is a hardcore bodybuilding brand that offers countless supplements nowadays. It is necessary to mention that most of their products are of a perfect level. Of course, I am not here to praise Extrifit, but to bring you an objective and quality review. So let's jump into the Multiprotein 80 Long review itself.
The composition of the protein is surprisingly good!
As protein sources, there are quickly and easily digestible whey proteins in the form of whey concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate. In addition, the so-called medium fast digesting proteins are contained in the form of egg albumin, which reliably completes the complete amino spectrum of the product. Last but not least, micellar casein is used, which ensures slow digestion of the protein and thus supplies the body with nutrients for a much longer period of time. All of these proteins together form the so-called ideal blend, which is suitable for use at any time of the day.
A great move on the part of the manufacturer is the use of 7 digestive enzymes that ensure perfect utilization and digestion of all the ingredients contained in the protein.
There are also flavors used in the product , but it is not specified whether they are natural or artificial flavors. In selected flavours we can also find natural colourings used.
The protein is sweetened mostly with sucralose, which is supplemented with steviol glycosides (sweetener from the stevia plant). Sucralose is used a lot nowadays, for the human body in this quantity. It does not pose any danger to the human body and can be used safely. The sweetener contained in the stevia plant is a much better option for the body and is even beneficial for our digestive tract. However, it does have one major drawback and that is that with large amounts of steviol glycosides, the sweetness turns bitter, which can be a problem to flavour.
Last but not least, there are various added substances in the protein in the form ofDepending on the flavour chosen, such as non-fat cocoa, freeze-dried strawberries, bananas, blueberries.

Easy solubility and great digestibility
After consuming the protein, I didn't have even the slightest problem digesting the product. The digestive enzymes contained in the protein help with perfect digestion and utilization of all the ingredients in the protein.
When testing the protein, I followed the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 30 grams of protein per 240 ml of water. After mixing the protein in the prescribed amount, a creamythicker consistency (due to the addition of micellar casein). The solubility was completely seamless, no lumps formed and the protein was ready in seconds.
I also stirred the protein in oatmeal and I didn't notice any solubility problems here either. A very nice fact was that the protein made my porridge beautifully creamy.

We were pleasantly surprised by the nutritional values
Nutritional values vary slightly depending on the flavour you choose. As for the protein content, it ranges from 75% to 79%. Here we are in the average to above average range, which I definitely commend.
Another sovereign step on the part of the manufacturer is the publication of the complete amino acid spectrum of protein, which adds credibility to the Extrifit brand. Of course, with this brand, you certainly don't have to worry about low-quality raw materials being used in production.

Even the flavours of the protein are very hilarious
Finally we come to the stumbling block of Extrifit proteins. I didn't expect much from the flavors for this exact reason. On the other hand, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the protein in this respect and after testing Whey3protein from the same brand, it once again gave me hope that Extrifit could also make balanced and tasty flavours. Let's now describe how each variant tasted:
- Chocolate (7/10) is probably the best of the four, as it is also the most distinctive. After preparation, the result is a creamy chocolate shake that has a lovely chocolate aroma. After tasting it, there is a pleasant smell of cocoa. In the final analysis, the flavour does not offend or delight, but it is definitely not up to the MPS-5 Pro protein from Czech Virus in the chocolate flavour.
- Chocolate-Coconut (7/10) is a direct alternative to the previous flavour. Essentially, it's the chocolate you'll find throughout the Extrifit protein portfolio, only with the addition of coconut flavouring. The blended shake is creamy and flavourful.
- The vanilla (6/10) had a strange chemical smell from the moment it was opened, and it didn't get much better after tasting it. Not to mention that the vanilla flavour disappeared immediately after the first taste. If you're into better tasting proteins, you're definitely better off reaching for competing brands.
- Strawberry-Banana (7/10), this flavour also ranks among the best alongside chocolate. Unfortunately, after opening the package, there was again a strange chemical smell. When consumed, I could smell a pleasant banana-strawberry flavour, but it was not at all distinctive and faded away after a while. At the same time, it should be noted that the flavour had a rather more banana-like effect on me and the strawberry was only minimally perceptible here.

When is the best time to take protein?
Multiprotein 80 from Extrifit contains easily and quickly absorbed proteins, slowly absorbed proteins and so-called moderately absorbed proteins (egg albumin). All these proteins in the protein are also easily digestible, which is also ensured by the added digestive enzymes.
Multiprotein 80 can be taken at any time of the day between meals, for breakfast or before bedtime. It is also very suitable for use immediately after a workout, when it will provide you with immediate delivery of protein to the muscles, as well as the gradual release, which is called. This is the ideal blend that is so popularised nowadays.

Unique protein at a friendly price
The largest package you can buy protein in is 2270 g. For the largest package you will pay , which corresponds to one dose of .The manufacturer also offers the protein in a smaller package of 1000 g, which costs on the official website of the manufacturer. You can also buy the protein in disposable bags of 30 g, for which you will pay .
I was pleasantly surprised by the price of the protein because it is a really high quality multi-ingredient protein. But as we will see in a moment, there are even cheaper multi-ingredient proteins on the market.
Alternative variants of multi-ingredient proteins
If for some reason the Multiprotein from Extrifit doesn't suit you, don't despair. You can find other quality multi-ingredient proteins on our market and I will briefly introduce some of them here.
1. Czech Virus MPS-5 Pro
This is a very high quality multi-ingredient protein from the Czech company Czech Virus. Its composition is similar to Multiprotein Long, it also contains whey proteinprotein, micellar casein and egg albumin, so you get exactly the same effect.
You will find slightly worse nutritional values, with the protein value at 73%. However, on the other hand, MPS-5 Pro has a much better taste and also works out cheaper.
This is truly the best tasting multi-ingredient protein on our market. You can get it in a 2250 g pack for , where one dose will cost you .
Czech Virus MPS-5 Pro - The absolute top in the multi-ingredient protein category? (Review)

2. Prom-IN Pentha Pro Balance
Another quality multi-ingredient protein from Prom-IN. The composition is also almost the same as the previous two proteins, i.e.It contains whey protein, micellar casein and egg albumin.
Here, the value of the contained protein varies in a very wide range from 70% to 80% depending on the flavour chosen.
As far as the flavour is concerned, this is very individual. I know people who like the protein, but I also know people who wouldn't buy it again. You'll have to try the protein for yourself.
You can get the protein for the same price as the protein from Czech Virus, so for a 2250 g pack you will pay a total of and one dose will cost you .

Final review
This brings us to the end of the review itself. The overall feeling of the protein is quite positive. I have to say that this is a quality protein that is sure to win over its fans. However, come to think of it, it unfortunately can't beat competitors like Czech Virus or Prom-IN. In the future, I would definitely prefer to reach for one of these competing brands.
However, if you like the Extrifit brand and want to support it, don't hesitate to get the protein. Your muscles will definitely grow after it, just count on the weaker flavors that Extrifit has been fighting for years. And as far as functionality is concerned, you can't fault the protein.
