Reviews on products from the manufacturer Extrifit on our site you do not see too often, however, do not giverecently I got the opportunity to test Whey3 protein from this brand, so I thought I could not refuse this opportunity.
I already had some information about Whey3 protein, I knew that it was a protein primarily designedIt was primarily intended for women because the manufacturer put more emphasis on the taste of the protein, which women appreciate. So I was expecting an absolutely perfect taste experience.
In the end, how did the protein hold up taste-wise? Did I have any reservations about it? When is the best time to take the protein? Find out that and much more in today's review.
Content of the review
It should be mentioned that in fact Whey3 is exactly the same as all other proteins that we can find on the market, so it can be used by men with exactly the same effect.
A protein composition that is second to none
The most represented ingredient in the protein is whey concentrate (it makes up 75% of the protein component), which is processed using the most gentle CFM method, which is nowadays considered to be the absolute standard. This method preserves all the bioactive fractions in the protein and can thus support not only muscle growth, but also overall human health. The whey concentrate is further supplemented with whey isolate (15% of the protein compositionDH8 hydrolysed whey isolate (constitutes 10% of the protein component). These are more expensive raw materials than the whey concentrate and are added here presumably to allow the manufacturer to "improveto improve the overall nutritional value of the protein and to ensure immediate absorption of the protein into the blood (suitable for post-workout use).
The manufacturer states on the packaging that flavourings are used in the protein, however it is not specified whether these are chemical or natural flavourings. After my own experience, I tend to think that the manufacturer has clearly used a chemical flavouring. On the other hand, natural colouring was used in the production , which I am glad for. I think that nowadays the use of natural dyes and flavourings should be a matter of course.

Furthermore, in the composition of the protein we find added digestive enzymes lactase, bromelain and papain, which guarantee us maximum utilization of all the protein in the protein and thus minimize the risk of poor digestion of the product.
Last but not least, the manufacturer adds a wide range of vitamins to the proteinin which we can find mainly B vitamins, enriched with vitamin C and E. In addition to vitamins, we can also find added magnesium, which is here in a chelate bond (guarantees optimal absorption into the body). All these ingredients are not a necessity in a protein, but their addition is a huge advantage.
For example, sunflower lecithin, which is used here as an emulsifier, is also included in the composition. or carboxymethylcellulose, which is used here as a thickener (it gives a nice creamy consistency). Both substances are completely safe for the body, they are included here for the final protein consistency, solubility or minimal foaming.
As a very positive addition that can be found in the protein are the ingredients that give the protein an authentic taste and aroma. These ingredients include vanilla seeds, defatted cocoa, dried defattedmilk, shredded coconut or freeze-dried strawberries (varies by flavour). These are high quality ingredients that should take the protein taste experience to a whole new level.
The protein is sweetened with sucralose, a sweetener I'm sure you're all very familiar with. It is a safe sweetener that is very popular with health food manufacturers. In the amount that is contained here, you are in no way at risk of any side effectseffects (such as water retention or indigestion), so you have nothing to worry about.
Creamy consistency and perfect digestibility
When testing the protein, I followed the manufacturer's instructions, 30 g of protein per 200 ml of water. After mixing the protein in a shaker, I didn't notice any lumps or much foaminess. On the contrary, the resulting product had a beautiful creamy consistency and was ready for immediate consumption.
I also had no problems with digestibility. I felt no nausea or bloating after consuming the protein itself , the protein was digested within 45 minutes and I could then go on to the actual solid meal without any problems.

The nutritional values won't offend, but they won't impress either
The nutritional values of the protein are quite average. If we focus on the percentage of protein, it ranges from 71% to 75% depending on the flavour you choose. From this perspective, the protein has rather average to below average values. As far as the amount of carbohydrates and fats per 100g of product is concerned, here everything is in thei.e. the same amount as in all similar competing products.
A very sovereign step on the part of the manufacturer is the publication of the amino acid spectrum of the proteins contained in the protein and also the disclosure of any added vitamins and minerals and their exact amounts.

Proven flavours that are far from perfect
The biggest reason I was looking forward to testing the protein was its flavor, which is much touted by the manufacturer. Even from the ingredients used I thought the protein would taste really great, even after opening each packet there was an absolutely amazing smell. However, I can now say that the flavour of the protein was one big disappointment. We tried the protein in all the flavours:
- Milk Chocolate (8/10) has a chemical note when opened, but after measuringWhen opened in a shaker, you enjoy a fairly natural chocolate flavour. The resulting shake has a thick consistency, doesn't foam and is not over-sweetened. The solubility is not ideal though, as the protein leaves small lumps in my shaker and this spoils the impression of the flavour. Overall, I rate this variant positively, but unfortunately it can't beat the MPS-5 Pro chocolate from Czech Virus.
- Vanilla/almond (5/10) also has a very chemical taste, after tasting the protein there is no flavour vanilla flavour, I recommend to use less water during the preparation to make the flavour more pronounced. Overall I rate the taste very average, unfortunately there are a lot of competing companies that have a vanilla flavor much tastier.
- Coconut Shake (5/10), I was looking forward to this flavour the most. I have to say that in the final, I liked the coconut flavour very much. However, even here there was a big problem with the fact that the coconut was hardly smelled at all after mixing. Again, I recommend mixing the protein in a smaller amount of water. The flavor was not overly sweet in any way and for those of you who like less sweet proteins, this is the way to go.
- Strawberry Shake (3/10) is without a doubt the biggest disappointment of the four flavors. Upon opening the protein, I smelled a delicious strawberry scent, but after tasting it, the scent seemed to have completely disappeared and there was no trace of strawberry. I don't know if I received a defective product or if this flavor was actually marketed this way by the manufacturer, but I would definitely not buy it a second time. If you want to experience the perfect strawberry flavor I recommend trying Prom-in CFM Probiotics for example.

When did I use protein?
Protein Whey3 contains easily and very quickly absorbed protein, for this reason I would especially recommend taking it immediately after a workout.Another very suitable alternative would be to take the protein immediately in the morning for breakfast or anytime during the day between meals.I don't recommend taking this protein immediately before bed because it contains really fast digesting protein, which is not recommended for overnight.
Whey3 is not recommended to be used for heat processing as you could destroy any health benefits the protein offers. Furthermore, you could destroy the added digestive enzymes or vitamins. If you want to use the protein for heat processing, choose a much cheaper protein where you don't pay extra for quality.

Quality protein at an adequate price
The manufacturer offers the protein in three different packages. In the largest 2 kg pack you can get the protein usually for about , while one dose will cost you . You can also buy protein in 1 kg packs, which you can buy in the right At the right time you can get it for , with one dose costing . And if you want to test the protein first, the manufacturer also offers single doses of 30g, which will cost you .
The price is personally too high for me, I would imagine a price of around for a 2 kg pack. However, it should be noted that the protein also contains unconventional ingredients, which are simply reflected in the final price of the product.
Final evaluation
This brings us to the end of my review. So is it worth investing in Extrifit's Whey3? That depends on your preferences and above all your taste. I personally wouldn't buy the protein again and that's because of the taste, which is really bland for me.
In other aspects, the protein is almost flawless, its composition competes with the bestIt dissolves perfectly, does not form lumps and does not foam in any way. However, in terms of taste, everyone will have to try it for themselves, becauseWhat doesn't suit me may suit someone else.
