The ingredients contain 21 active ingredients!
The basis of a proper pre-workout is a well-thought-out formula combiningactive ingredients that work together in synergy. Jirka Vacek PWO does not do badly in this respect. It contains a total of 21 active ingredients, which is really impressive. More important than their number, however, is their real effect and the amount in which they are contained. So let's take a closer look at the individual substances:
- 5,400 mg of L-citrulline, which is the best supplement for improving NO production and thus muscle blood flow
- 2 600 mg of malic acid (citrulline malate), another effective form of citrulline
- 2,000 mg of SABEET (beetroot extract) containing nitrates for maximum muscle blood flow during training
- 2 000 mg glycerol monostearate to increase extracellular fluid volume
- 2,000 mg of L-Tyrosine, which is a precursor to adrenaline and noradrenaline
- 2 000 mg of taurine for proper concentration for training
- 500 mg of green tea leaf extract to support metabolic functioning
- 500 mg of Cordyceps sinensis powder, which is a mushroom that supports energy, endurance and recovery
- 300 mg of potassium, which is excreted in large quantities in sweat during physical exertion
- 250 mg of grape seed extract for better blood circulation and significant antioxidant effects
- 188 mg of elemental sodium in the form of citrate to improve red blood cell production
- 165 mg of caffeine for maximum energy
- 120 mg of vitamin C for pumping support and antioxidant effects
- 119 mg of elemental phosphorus (potassium salt of phosphoric acid) acting as a source of cellular energy
- 100 mg of Citrus aurantium extract, which acts as a source of synephrine to support fat metabolism
- 85 mg of rhodiola rosea for normal digestion, oxygenation of the heart and blood vessels and support of physical performance
- 57 mg of elemental magnesium (in the form of citrate), on which the function of enzymes involved in the production of ATP depends
- 50 mg of cytocoline, which acts as a precursor to phosphatidylcholine, contributing to the renewal of mitochondria responsible for the production of cellular energy
- 24.7 mg of vitamin B6 for proper protein and carbohydrate metabolism
- 30 mg of vitamin B3 to support recovery from muscle strain
- 7 mg of bioperine, which aims to improve the absorption of other substances by up to several times
The list of active ingredients is really long and you can see that the manufacturer has paid attention to the composition. It is worth mentioning the absence of beta-alanine, which is for many a necessary part of a proper pre-workout, but others like to avoid it. Personally, I do not feel that beta-alanine is missing here, because the composition is really supercharged and the effect is quite sufficient even without it. On the contrary, I appreciate the presence of two forms of citrulline and the presence of important minerals that the body excretes during training. Therefore, I have to rate the composition as excellent.
How to use PWO Jirka Vacek?
One dose of this pre-workout represents 24 grams, which is equivalent to less than two scoops (1 and 3/4 scoops to be precise). Although this is a detail, with regular use one doses supplements by eye and similarly set dosages leads to the end result that you usually take a little less or a little more than the set daily dose. Again, this is not a major issue, but I would still consider it practicalmore practical to supply supplements with measuring cups that correspond to the recommended doses.
When mixing in water, I didn't encounter any solubility issues, which sometimes happens with other pre-workouts. At first I was a little worried about the fact that the manufacturer recommends using 500 ml of water, however, since the effect usually comes after some30 minutes, there is no need to drink the pre-workout just before the workout, and thus the problem with a belly full of water during the workout is eliminated. Nevertheless, after some time I started to use a little less water (about 400 ml) and it did not affect the solubility.
Take well in advance
The PWO Jirka Vacek effect is really great in my opinion. You can look forward to a really good pump up and a strong kick that will definitely not force you to train. The only negative I see is the relatively long time between drinking and the onset of all the effects. The response comes after about 30 minutes, which means that if you don't drink PWO well in advance, you won't feel the effect at the beginning of your workout. However, if you manage to get the timing right, you certainly won't be disappointed and this is a phenomenon PWO shares with many other preworkouts.
Pretty good taste by pre-workout standards
I have to admit that most pre-workouts don't taste very good to me. They are usually very strong and sometimes it's hard to drink them without grimacing a little. You just don't buy pre-workouts for the taste, you buy them for the effect. In my opinion, PWO Jirka Vacek is one of the better products in terms of taste. The taste has no artificial finish and although it is a little too sweet for my taste (as is often the case with strawberry flavours), it is not a disaster. Ultimately, therefore, I rate the flavour rather positively.
The higher price may discourage the purchase
The biggest stumbling block for this product is its price. Compared to the competition, you often pay as much as a third more per dose. The ingredients of this product are really good and at the same time we have to take into account the fact that there are 21 active ingredients in the formula, theThe price/quality ratio is a bit worse compared to the best products in our ranking of the best pre-workouts. However, it undoubtedly deserves its place among the top products on the market.
Final evaluation
I have to rate the PWO Jirka Vacek as a very good product that can definitely compete with the best products on the market. However, it has a few shortcomings, the biggest being the price. If you can't afford to spend an exorbitant amount of money on supplements, it's definitely worth reaching for another alternative from our ranking. On the other hand, if you don't mind paying extra for a quality pre-workout, PWO Jirka Vacek may be the right product for you. It is definitely worth a try and we recommend it with all ten.
