Try the tasty Quick Oats

At the outset, it should be noted that the flagship of FitStream's repertoire is their portable blender, in which you can prepare porridges (as well as smoothies or various sports supplements) in no time. We wrote more about it in a separate review.

How do we rate the ingredients?

In addition to the blender mentioned above, FitStream also makes many supplements or powdersbreakfast porridge, which we decided to focus on in this test. We were given five different porridges from the company to try, and what struck us about all of themAbove all, the ingredients are very simple, yet balanced and functional. The base is always oatmeal, which logically makes up the majority of the porridge. However, each of the variants is flavoured with different ingredients, so while in one of them you will find, for example, coconut, freeze-dried banana and baobab powder, the other contains more white chocolate, peanuts, pineapple and maca. In short, these are very varied porridges that have a simple, but perfectly sufficient and tastefully balanced composition. Cane sugar has always been used to sweeten the porridge, but each porridge is differently sweet. While the Activate variant, for example, contains no sugar at all, the Boost flavour contains 10 grams, which may seem like a lot to some.

How to prepare the porridge?

If you decide to get the porridge together with a blender, the preparation is logically quite simple. All you have to do is take about 150 ml of warm water, put it in the FitStream blender, add the contents of one packet of porridge and turn on the blending. After a while, you will get a great and smoothly blended porridge that you will really enjoy. But you can also prepare Quick Oats in a similar way without a blender - and every time, you'll get the same taste.which makes these breakfast porridges a really ideal partner for situations where you can't keep up with your morning meal, for example.or simply because you're not hungry when you wake up and want to eat on the run. When you have more time, you can of course add the porridge to yoghurt or various smoothies and enjoy it in peace. You have a variety of options.

How do we rate the taste?

Quick Oats porridge also impressed us in terms of taste, because it doesn't feel artificial (like many competing products) and you can really enjoy a great flavoured oatmeal. The aforementioned Activate variant, which contains no added sugar, is a bit bland in taste, but all the others are absolutely great. We must also appreciate the fact that none of the porridges are unnecessarily oversweetened, so that the other added ingredients have the opportunity to stand out. It is also good that you can play with the consistency of the resulting porridge (not only in the blender). and if you prefer a thicker breakfast, just use less water and vice versa.

We were pleasantly surprised by the taste of Quick Oats.

What do we say about the price?

If these porridges have a downside, it's the relatively high price. FitStream sells these porridges either in packs of five (whereby you can choose between five packs of oneor in a pack containing 30 porridges of all the flavours. However, at the time of writing this review, you will pay 319 crowns for 5 servings, which means that one serving costs more than 60 crowns. And when you take into account that the majority of the product is oatmeal, this is obviously quite a high price. We must point out that the other ingredients have a relatively high purchase cost (for example, freeze-dried fruit is a much more expensive and healthier option than dried), but the price still seems quite high. However, if you subscribe to FitStream's newsletters, you can look forward to regular discount coupons, with which the products already come out a lot nicer.

Final assessment.

What is left to say in conclusion? Perhaps only that Quick Oats can be a really great breakfast and a helper in situations when you can't or don't want to eat breakfast under normal conditions. The only downside, therefore, from our point of view, is the price, which causes you to find it more of a regular part of your diet rather than aQuick Oats will be an occasional treat for most people. However, if finances are not a problem for you, we definitely recommend trying Quick Oats and whichever variant you choose, we dare say you will enjoy it.
