Joint nutrition should be an indispensable supplement for most athletes. These are not miracle pills that will solve even advanced stages of arthritis, but if movementthe musculoskeletal system on the one hand (e.g. by overexertion), it is also necessary to give it adequate nutrition. That is why joint nutrition has a special place in my supplementation plan.
However, Evris in particular has often been the subject of your questions, so I decided to test it. Is it worth it? How does it differ from competing products? Is it missing anything? How does it taste? This and much more you will find out in today's review.
Content of the review
At the beginning it remains to note that I tried the lemon variant, so I definitely I will be able to compare it with some of the better-known foods not only in terms of composition but also taste.
Ingredients without any unnecessary
Joint nutritionists are one of the few supplements whose popularity extends far beyond sports. However, this is coupled with the fact that many manufacturers use cheap and non-functional ingredients in an attempt to make the most profit. This is by no means the case with Flex Blend, which contains a combination of 4 substances whose effect has been studied and confirmed by many scientific studies. So in one scoop (6g) you will find:
- 2000mg of MSM, which is the best possible source of sulphur. And it is the sulphur that is responsible not only for the new collagen formation, but even positively influences muscle recovery after hard workouts.
- 1600mg glucosamine hydrochloride, which is another very essential ingredient. Glucosamine, together with chondroitin, is the component capable of binding water in the joints, which improves the strength and flexibility of the articular cartilage. Personally, I would prefer the sulphate variant, but hydrochloride is not a bad choice either.
- 600mg of chondroitin sulfate, which is one of the slow-acting drugs and their positive effect can be seen after 4 weeks at the earliest. But the good news is that it remains in the body for the same length of time even after discontinuation.
- 200mg of vitamin C, which, like MSM, contributes to the normal formation of collagen, but also ensuresIt also ensures the proper functioning of blood vessels, cartilage and teeth and ensures optimal skin elasticity. Last but not least, it positively influences the immune system.
If you look at some competing joint nutrition products (for example, those from our comparison), you will find that some of them contain significantly more active ingredients. Evris Flex Blend is far from being the most effective joint nutrition, but it is without a doubt a very effective prevention.
The best possible prevention
I have been taking Evris Flex Blend for two and a half months mainly as a prevention againstI have to say that this joint nutrition has done its job perfectly. I honestly don't think it solved any serious joint problems, every...minor problems caused by heavy training loads, it solves them really reliably. If you are looking for the best possible prevention, Evris Flex Blend is exactly for you, also thanks to the great price/quality ratio.
When and how did I use Flex Blend?
Flex Blend comes with a measuring cup for 6 grams of powder. So, I used just one scoop daily according to the manufacturer's recommendation, which I poured directly into my mouth and washed down with plenty of water. For most of you, however, it will probably be more acceptable to mix it in water. In this case, I recommend choosing a smaller amount of water (ideally no more than 2dcl). Flex Blend dissolves very well without a shaker, so you can just dump it into a glass of water and stir.
Taste-wise, the difference between Alavis and Joint Care Drink
If there was anything that surprised me very pleasantly, it was the taste of the Flex Blend drink. Compared to such Alavis it was definitely a lot better, just because it actually tasted like lemon. And ironically, it doesn't taste bad at all, I would dare to compare it to various drinks designed to reduce flu symptoms. The drink is quite sweet and although there is a rather artificial aftertaste in the mouthit is still a joint remedy, not something to be enjoyed. But if I were to compare Flex Blend to, say, a Joint Care Drinkwhich is probably the best tasting on the market, Evris still has some catching up to do.
A supplement that is hard to compete with in terms of price
The whole package costs and contains a total of 75 doses, which corresponds to a price of per dose. In the case of the already mentioned Joint Care Drink, the price per dose is almost five times higher, which is a really significant difference. However, it should be noted that the joint nutrition from Prom-in contains some extra ingredients. In any case, Evris is sufficient for prevention and I would definitely recommend it to any athlete, given its very reasonable price.
Final evaluation
Although the composition is still a bit behind the very best nutrition productsas injury prevention, it is absolutely sufficient even for a very stressed musculoskeletal system. Evris Flex Blend also combines a great price and a more than satisfactory taste, thanks to which you will never have to force yourself to drink joint nutrition again.
