Although Health Balance has been on the market for a few months, we haven't paid much attention to it. We have tested dozens of other supplements for you and we had to study the effect of Health Balance for a longer time, whereas with proteins you just have to taste it and after a few doses you can sit down to write.
So what is this sophisticated supplement from the popular Prom-IN company like? What can you expect from it and what should you rather forget about? You will find out in our review today, which we bring to you after testing this supplement for several weeks.
Content of the review
For completeness it remains to add that in order not to be influenced by some placebo effect, I did not study the ingredients or the declared effects until I started writing this review. My evaluation is thus completely objective and unbiased.
Ingredients that actually work
Honestly, I've never been much of a fan of herbs and various extracts from them. So it's not that I didn't use them in my diet at all, but rather I didn't believe in any extra miraculous effect. This changed with the addition of Health Balance to my supplementation plan, as it is the extracts that this product is based on. Especially the effect of coenzyme Q10 and silymarin from the milk thistle is absolutely first class. Just look at what you can find in one dose of Health Balance:
- 500mg of Saw Palmetto extract, which has a positive effect on the urogenital system and hormonal optimization.
- 375mg of Milk Thistle extract, which is a source of silymarin that supports gallbladder and liver function.
- 300mg of maca extract, which has a positive effect on the body's energization and hormonal balance
- 250mg of cordyceps sinensis extract, which is a mushroom that positively affects protein synthesis, kidney health and overall vitality.
- 200mg of alpha lipoic acid, which improves carbohydrate metabolism through its positive effect on insulin resistance.
- 150mg of garlic extract, which positively affects the cardiovascular system and blood circulation.
- 120mg of curcumin extract, which is anti-inflammatory and effectively addresses digestive tract issues.
- 25mg of coenzyme Q10, which positively influences heart fitness and function and acts as a cofactor in many metabolic processes
- 5mg of piperine, which serves to accelerate the utilization and improve the utilization of other substances
While each of these substances could be broken down into a separate article, I don't feel it necessaryas this information can be found on the official website of the manufacturer. Rather, in our review, let's take a look at how I used Health Balance and what effect you may notice.
How and when did I take Health Balance?
The recommended dosage of Health Balance is 4 capsules per day, which I found to be too much for a single dose. So I took two capsules in the morning with breakfast and two capsules with brunch, washing them down with plenty of water each time. For the first 3 weeks or so, this dose was enough for me with absolutely no problems and I felt the effect, which I discuss in detail in the next paragraph, absolutely 100%.
But after this time the effectiveness of this supplement began to fade and I had to increase the dosage to 6 tablets. This fact was later confirmed to me by Pavel Samek directly from Prom-IN, who uses even 8 of them. I stayed on those 6 tablets and I feel the positive effect until now.
What can you expect from the product and what not?
As I have already predicted once in the very beginning of the review, I did not read any effects declared by the manufacturer beforehand to avoid the placebo effect. The first positive effect I felt already during the first week of use was a significant increase in activity during the day. Throughout my time taking Health Balance, I have yet to feel tired or in any way overworked during the day as I did before. Another interesting discovery for me was less need for sleep, while I was able to handle early morning wake-ups much better. But maybe that's just my subjective feeling.
After a few more weeks of regular use, I also noticed a positiveeffect on my immune system because in previous autumns I was always very often cold, but not this time. But you definitely don't feel this effect after a week of use, you really need longer term supplementation for it.
When I checked what the manufacturer says about Health Balance after finishing the first packet, I found that we basically agree on these effects. What I didn't notice, however, is the claimed positive effect on improving the function and condition of the liver, gallbladder or heart. This would require medical examinations and tests, which would be financially very expensive.
Nevertheless, I was very pleased with the positive effect of Health Balance and I must say that after a long time I have once again come across a supplement whose supplementation makes sense.
The price we are not used to from Prom-IN
If you read our reviews on a regular basis, then you'll know that we recommend Prom-In to all students, especially for its top-notch value for money. Reflex Nutrition, for example, makes great supplements of course, but few people want to invest more than necessary in supplements. However, Health Balance is quite out of the Prom-In standards with its price. For a daily dose of 4 capsules, you pay , which corresponds to per month.
The higher price may of course discourage some people, but in this case it really doesof the quality and cost of the raw materials used, and in my opinion the investment is still worthwhile. Definitely one of the best investments I have made recently.
Final assessment
A supplement that is definitely worthwhile despite the relatively higher price tag. I've tested it myself once and since then, I can't imagine having to stop taking it. I am extremely happy that after a long time I have come across a truly functional supplement that fulfills exactly what it declares on the packaging. If you're looking for a supplement that maximizes your productivity, you won't find anything better than Health Balance.
