What makes protein pasta different?

When you look at the ingredients of classic pasta, you will most often find wheat in the list of ingredients used.The list of ingredients in the ingredients list includes flour, water and, where appropriate, turmeric, which is used to colour the pasta. However, the protein pasta from KetoDiet is basically quite different, because in addition to the aforementioned wheat flour, it also contains isolated whitesoya protein, wheat protein, wheat and acacia fibre, dried egg white, guar gum as a stabiliser and psyllium fibre. As a result, the protein pasta has significantly more protein and fibre content at the expense of significantly less carbohydrate.

Do I know the difference?

Although the ingredients are different from traditional pasta, you won't notice any difference in terms of preparation or taste. Just drop the protein spaghetti into boiling water and cook it for 10 minutes. Then strain the spaghetti and you can use it in any recipe you would use regular pasta in. The very interesting thing about this product is that you have no chance to tell the difference in terms of taste or texture. However, after eating it, you may notice, as we did, that the protein pasta will fill you up significantly more and you won't be hungry for longer than the classic ones. Since they don't have any specific taste, you can flavor them completely according to your own taste preferences and indulge inFor example, with herb pesto, chicken or prawns, tomato puree with tuna or even cream sauce. You have a lot of options.

How do we rate the price?

Half a kilo of protein pasta comes out to nearly 200 crowns at the time of writing this review. This is of course a really high price compared to regular pasta, but on the other hand, it reflects a lot of different ingredients, which of course have a largely higher purchase cost.
