1. Protein Hazelnut Choco Spread

LifeLike Protein Hazelnut Choco Spread

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

Hazelnut cream, defatted cocoa, high quality whey protein, MCT oil, coconut oil, erythritol and steviol glycosides for sweetening. All very high quality ingredients that are perfect for building muscle mass and those who follow a healthy lifestyle. I must especially highlight erythritol, which has significantly fewer calories than regular sugar and is suitable for diabetics. In short, at first glance, a composition that we have nothing to fault.

How we rate the taste

The butter has a very delicate aroma, which not only shows chocolate, but you can definitely detect hazelnuts. The consistency is quite thin at room temperature, which you can adjust by storing it in the fridge. But you will appreciate this property when spreading it on pastries, and you can also stir in myslo into yoghurt, which is very difficult to do with competing products. In terms of flavour, it is a balanced mixture of chocolate and nuts that melds in the mouth from the first moments, but at the same time one does not overpower the other. The chocolate is quite bitter, the butter is definitely not over-sweetened and I must admit that I fell in love with it from the first spoonful.

Conclusion

Protein Hazelnut Choco Spread is one of those butters that I absolutely loved from the first time I tasted it and would definitely buy again. The butter has both a quality composition and an unbeatable taste, which is the best possible combination. If you're looking for the best possible compromise between these two aspects, I can definitely recommend this butter and rate it 10 out of 10.

2. Protein Cashew Coconut

LifeLike Protein Cashew Coconut

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

This cream combines cashew nuts, coconut, whey protein, MCT oil, erythritol and steviol glycosides, so again, all quality ingredients. As with Lucky Alvin, I wish there was something to fault these butters for, but the ingredients are simply and simply brilliant. No unnecessary ingredients, poor quality raw material sources, thickeners or anything else. Just tried and true quality ingredients in the right proportions to make you love butter too.

How we liked the butter

When we tasted Coconella some time ago for a ranking of the tastiest peanut butters...I didn't expect it to taste anything close. Protein Cashew Coconut is indeed very similar though, it just has a slightly thinner consistency and is not as sweet. The coconut is really noticeable from the butter, but at the same time it doesn't overpower the cashew nut flavour. From my point of view, it is really one of the best butters from this company, which is very well balanced in taste.

Conclusion

Without a doubt one of the best butters you can buy on the market. I really appreciate the excellent taste that is achieved while maintaining the quality of the ingredients. So the manufacturer didn't have to use any flavourings or added sugar and you will still have trouble putting down the spoon from the first taste. I therefore give the butter 9.5 points out of 10 and recommend it to any cashew lover.

3. Coconut Twister

Lifelike Twister coconut

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

40% coconut, 30% almonds, 20% white chocolate and 10% biscuits. These are the 4 basic ingredients from which this butter was made. On the one hand I really appreciate the combination of coconut and almonds, which is a perfect combination, on the other hand our overall impression is spoiled by the amount of added sugar (either in the white chocolate or in the biscuits) and glucose syrup. In 100g you'll find almost 24g of simple sugars, which is really quite a lot compared to the competition, but it's all perfectly compensated by the taste of the butter.

How we liked the butter

The smell of the butter is very intensely coconutty, the almonds are rather bland. When exposed to room temperature for longer, the consistency is slightly runny, but this is resolved by storing in the fridge. After tasting it, at first the mouth develops a very sweet taste, but it is more reminiscent of white chocolate than coconut or almonds. The coconut only develops after a while and the almonds only come in at the very end. The longer you have the butter in your mouth, the more intense the taste of almonds becomes. This butter also contains spheres, which are relatively tasteless, but it is a very unusual thing that adds to the atypicality of the butter.

Conclusion

This butter is not really a super healthy snack, as the amount of simple sugars is really quite high. However, taste-wise, there is nothing to fault it if you like sweeter and tasteflavourful butters, you definitely won't be able to put the spoon down until the butter is in traction. As an occasional sin I definitely recommend it, as a daily snack not so much. I still give it a 9 out of 10 (but that's just because of the ingredients).

4. Banana Twister

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

As unbelievable as it sounds, this butter is made up of three ingredients and three ingredients only, and there's simply nothing to fault them. These are roasted cashews, which make up 60% of the butter, 35% is made up of 70% Belgian chocolate and the remaining 5% is made up of freeze-dried bananas. An absolutely brilliant combination, plus no unnecessary additives to spoil the nutritional profile of this butter.

How we rate the taste

Addiction. That's one word to describe the taste of this butter. Cashews are delicious on their own, but when combined with dark chocolate, it's something absolutely incredible. And while I'm not a huge banana lover, the bananas are evident in this butter alone.m end of the flavour, so you don't have to worry about any artificial and distracting banana flavour. The chocolate is really intense, the butter is not unnecessarily over-sweetened and I can only recommend it to everyone.

Conclusion

With each new butter I taste from the Twister series, I am beginning to think that these are perhaps the most delicious butters on the market. And when you add in the good ingredients, there's nothing to complain about at all. Finding a compromise between good ingredients and great taste can be a bit nuts.but LifeLike has done it to a tee and this butter cannot be rated other than 9 out of 10.

5. Caramel Twister

LifeLike twister caramel

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

This butter is made up of 70% peanuts,13% coconut sugar, 12% coconut oil, 4% defatted cocoa and a percentage of Himalayan salt. So these are five ingredients that are basically nothing to fault. The peanuts are a great source of fat, the coconut sugar and oil give the product a unique flavour and the defatted cocoa is a great source of antioxidants.

How we liked the butter

From the aroma of the butter, there is a full and pleasant combination of chocolate and peanuts that provides a completely satisfying flavour. When tasted, the mouth first releases an intense flavour of defatted cocoa, which is immediately accompanied by that typical and familiar peanut flavour. Only at the very end does the taste of coconut and Himalayan salt develop in your mouth, which weighsslowly but surely leading you to taste another spoonful of this delicious cream. The butter again has an interesting consistency, like the others it is quite thin, which I appreciate especially because, unlike the competitors, it doesn't stick to your mouth.

Conclusion

Another great product that's a good compromise between great taste and a top-notch formula that's hard to fault. You'll really love the flavour, as the cocoa is really intense and makes it feel really authentic. I rate the butter 9 out of 10.

6. Hazelnut cream

LifeLike Hazelnut Cream

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

I'll be honest and admit that hazelnut butters are probably my favourite of all unflavoured butters. First of all, they are the most digestible and contain a lot of fibre, but above all they taste great. This butter contains only high quality hazelnuts, so it is an excellent source of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and many other micronutrients essential for life.

How we liked the butter

What is definitely worth highlighting is the ideal consistency of the butter; it spreads well, but can also be easily mixed into porridge, for example. When opened, it smells like freshly ground nuts. The flavour is very intense but at the same time mild, it doesn't stick in your mouth and you really have a problem putting the spoon down.

Conclusion

For lovers of hazelnuts, an absolutely clear choice. A delicate taste, an optimal consistency, and a smell that you simply cannot resist. Since I really like these nuts, I give the butter a 9 out of 10. But if you're looking for a flavorful delicacy, I would definitely prefer butter with chocolate.

7. Peanut Coconut Cream

LifeLike Peanut Coconut Cream

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

The peanut coconut cream is, after all, as the name suggests, made up of two ingredients and two ingredients only. 65% of this butter is peanuts, the remaining 35% is coconut. Although it may not be so apparent at first taste, the butter does not containno sweeteners, flavours or added sugars that would spoil the nutritional value of the butter.

How we liked the butter

As a result of the coconut oil that naturally occurs in all butters containing coconut, this cream was very thin. While you might consider this a slight disadvantage when spreading it on baked goods, as the butter tends to run off, you'll appreciate it in porridges or yogurts. I have to say that I had to pause for a moment over the taste characteristics of the butter, because the ratio of the ingredients is perfectly balanced. Although the coconut is noticeable in the butter, it does not interfere with the peanut flavour, which is strong and full.

Conclusion

I absolutely loved this butter, for example, in my breakfast cerealwhere the coconut flavour stands out perfectly, but also provides the body with the necessary fats from the peanuts. I like both the taste and the consistency. I give this cream an 8.75 out of 10.

8. Almond cream

LifeLike Almond Cream

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

There is absolutely nothing to fault with the 100% almond butter. There are no unnecessary preservatives, flavourings or other added substances, making it a purely natural product that you will love too. Almonds are, among other things, a great source of magnesium, which was the topic of one of our recent articles.

How we liked the butter

The all-natural flavour of roasted almonds is something that should not be missing from any health-conscious eater's repertoire. The flavour of the butter is very intense, it contains no distracting directand does not have the bitter taste that is typical of some competing butters. In terms of consistency, the butter is slightly stiffer than multi-ingredient butters, but notIt is still very good for spreading on baked goods as well as in various porridges.

Conclusion

If you love almonds and want to add them to your favourite porridge, on baked goods or just in yoghurt, you would be hard pressed to find a better product. Butter, on the other hand, is not exactly a taste experience, as the absence of chocolate or other flavourings will logically be reflected in the taste. For almond lovers, yes, but for gourmets I would definitely recommend the butters in the first three positions. So I give it 8.75 out of 10.

9. Cashew cream

LifeLike Cashew Cream

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

Rating the ingredients of the 100% cashew butter is again quite challenging, as there is nothing to fault it (again). Cashews are a great source of mono and polyunsaturated fats, which are very important for a healthy heart. But of course they also contain a huge amount of vitamins, especially thoseB group, but also C, E, K, copper, molybdenum and a large number of other micronutrients.

How the butter tasted to us

Cashew cream may not be as popular as almond or hazelnut butter from a global perspective, but it certainly has a lot to offer. I, for one, loved the very mild and slightly sweet flavour, which is accompanied by a very intense aroma. I haven't eaten the butter on its own very often, but rather in various unbaked desserts, when its flavour comes out best.

Conclusion

The ideal butter for preparing various desserts. It has a mild flavour, creamy consistency and intense aroma that is perfect for a variety of sweet dishes. It also works out well in terms of price/quality ratio, which is why I can only recommend it. I rate it, like the almond cream, 8.75 out of 10.

10. Peanut cream fine

LifeLike Peanut cream fine

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

What can be faulted with the butter that came first in our peanut butter in our top peanut cream rankings.? Nothing at all. There is nothing but peanuts in this butter, so we have nothing to criticise.

How we liked the butter

Peanut creams are produced by a huge number of companies nowadays. But only LifeLike, Lucky Alvin, Big Boy and a few other companies manage to produce an unforgettable taste experience. Compared to flavored butters, the consistency is a bit stiffer, but that doesn't matter at all. The aroma, like the taste, is very intense, full-bodied and if you love peanuts, you won't find anything better on the market.

Conclusion

Great value for money for any peanut butter lover. You can choose from both 300g and one kilo packs, so the butter can work out even more economically. Although it can't compare in taste to flavoured butters, for a variety of no-bake recipes it's a clear choice, which I rate at 8.5 out of 10.

11. Peanut cream crispy

LifeLike Peanut Cream Crunch

Background:

How we rate the ingredients

We have to rate the crunchy version of the peanut cream in exactly the same way as the soft version, as the ingredients are both 100% peanuts. So it's entirely up to your preference as to which variant you prefer.

How we liked the butter

Again, the butter has a very intense and full flavour and aroma, so we can only recommend it. It really depends more on what you plan to use the butter for- personally, I don't find the crunchy bits very appealingI don't find the butter very popular, because I use it in baked goods or yoghurt, but it will definitely come in handy in various non-baked recipes.

Conclusion

Just like the fine peanut butter, this version is the best thing you can indulge in as a peanut lover. A full and intense flavour accompanied by whole chunks that you will simply love. I rate it again 8.5 out of 10 thanks to its great value for money.
