There is probably no need to have a long discussion about the fact that prolonged sitting is bad for our bodies. Unfortunately, it is unavoidable in many professions nowadays, so it is definitely a good idea to at least minimize the negative the effects that sedentary jobs have on our musculoskeletal system. That is why we like the brand Liftor, which offers, for example, reclining tables. Thanks to them, you can alternate between standing and sitting at work, which is definitely desirable when working for several hours.

But now we got the chance to try out the Liftor Active ergonomic chair. We will share our experience and rating with you as part of this review.
What should you know about the Liftor Active?
First of all, for the sake of completeness, we should introduce you to what makes the Liftor Active interesting to potential customers. However, there's no point in mindlessly copying things you find on the official product website, so first of all you should know thatthat this is an ergonomic office chair that boasts a weight capacity of up to 150 kilograms and is suitable for figures up to 185 cm tall. Of course there are also armrests, because if you've ever had to work on a chair without them, you'll you know that after a while, your trapezius and neck can start to get pretty uncomfortable. The chair has hard wheels, so you can move it around on the carpet without any problems, and the individual pieces ofof course, the chair is adjustable so that you can modify the chair to your exact preference.
Interesting design and easy assembly
If, like us, you're not quite as manually skilled, we can reassure you. Because the Liftor Active chair only comes in a few parts, which you have toassemble it yourself, but in principle there's nothing complicated and anyone can do it. However, the final design of the chair is also interesting, because the backrestThe backrest is made up of two separate parts that can move in almost all directions. In this way, the chair adapts perfectly to you. The armrests also offer different positioning options and the headrest is not only adjustablebut also removable, so you can remove it temporarily if it gets in the way when you're working.
How does Liftor Active work in practice?
In practice, we have to be honest and admit that we were thrilled with the Liftor Active chair. In particular, we have to appreciate the mesh back, because it keeps your back from sweating while you work. And if you have an office without air conditioning, especially in the summer, the mesh will come in handythan some chairs with completely leak-proof backrests. The chair is sturdy and really comfortable even when sitting for long periods of time. However, we recommend that you pay attention to the manufacturers' recommendation that it is suitable for users up to 185 cm tall, because in our editorial office we are around thatheight and it should be noted that for taller individuals the neckrest may be very unsuitable. But for us, everything suited us as it should and if you have an extra adjustable desk from Liftor, you can say goodbye to uncomfortable sitting at work.
How do we rate the price?
In terms of price, at the time of the last update of this review, you'll pay nearly 10 thousand crowns for it. From our point of view, this is obviously a happy medium, but generally speaking it depends a lot on what use you have for the chair. If you're looking for a product that you sit on for, say, two hours a day and your work doesn't involve several long hours of sitting on somethingevery day, you might be happy with a cheaper product, of which there are many. On the other hand, there are also a number of significantly more expensive chairs, and since we spend a lot of time sitting, we've tried out some significantly more expensive products. And it should be noted that the Liftor Active is a very worthy competitor to them, although it often costs significantly less. So in terms of value for money, this chair comes out really great for us and if you're looking for a great product at a decent price, we can definitely recommend it.
Final assessment: is it worth buying?
The Liftor Activ is a sturdy and comfortable chair that can last a really long time if handled properly. And to make matters worse, its functionality and setup is comparable to products that are many times more expensive. So for us, it definitely makes sense to give it a try and if you happen to be (like us) in the process of equipping your office, the Liftor Activ could be a really great choice.
