The fact that we have a weakness for nut butters probably doesn't need to be discussed at length. This is evident in many reviews or, for example, in our ranking of the best nut butters. So when we were given the opportunity to try VanaVita's hazelnut butter, we were all for it. Were we ultimately satisfied? And how do we rate the ingredients? That's what we'll look at as part of this review.

At the outset, it is worth mentioning that we have already evaluated several products from VanaVita, such as the roseshots or their great BIO Greens Mix, which also made it into our comparison of the best greens supplements. So we had really high expectations for this product.
How do we rate the ingredients?
Before even tasting the product, we focused on the ingredients, because that's obviously what we're most interested in. It's not difficult to make a good tasting product with a bad compositionbut to keep only quality ingredients and still make a good butter is harder. And in this respect, VanaVita hazelnut butter really impressed us. The base is based on organic hazelnuts, which are enriched with cane sugar, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoa powder, cocoacocoa butter and cocoa mass, while all the other ingredients are of organic quality. We think that's absolutely great because it ultimately provides plenty of protein, healthy fats and fibre. What do we say about the consistency?
In addition to the ingredients, the premium consistency is also worth mentioning. Of course, when the butter arrived, there was a noticeable layer of oil on the surface, so the butter needed to be properly mixed before use. But then you were presented with an absolutely ideal consistency, which was fluid enough to mix the butter well, e.g.for example, in porridges or smoothies, but at the same time stiff enough that the butter would not run off, for example, a slice of bread. In this case, too, we have nothing to complain about.
The taste is absolutely irresistible!
But the best thing about VanaVita's hazelnut cream with cocoa is its unique taste. Once you open it, it will be very hard to resist. The butter tastes really good and, thanks to the addition of cocoa, it is very reminiscent of nougat. It is quite sweet, as cane sugar makes up 20% of the product, but the intense you can use a smaller amount in porridge or yoghurt to get a good taste.
How can the butter be used?
Although we have already partially hinted at it in this article, what we must also appreciate about this butter is its very wide range of uses. It can be eaten on its own, but you can also spread it on bread, add it to a variety of...in porridges, yoghurts, smoothies, protein drinks and many other recipes. If you'd like to increase your calorie intake, this butter is perfect for making a homemade 9-ingredient gainer, for example.
How do we rate the price?
In addition to the butter being great both in terms of taste and ingredients, we also have to to highlight the size of the package, because the product is 340 grams right away and thanks to that it will last you quite a long time. At the time of writing this review, you will only pay 259 crowns for this pack, which is a really good price compared to other nut butters. You may argue that the product contains, for example, cane sugar, which is definitely a cheaper raw material than, for example, high-quality nuts, but you must not forget that all the ingredients used are certified organic, which is a nice plus for us.
Final assessment.
In conclusion, we can only say once again that we have nothing to complain about with this butter. It offers a good composition, great taste and versatile use. And to make matters worse, it is available at a very reasonable price. So whether you're looking for an ingredient for a variety of FIT recipes or just need a healthier alternative when next time you're feeling hungry, VanaVita's hazelnut butter is a great choice.
