Nut butters have never been as popular among athletes as they are today. Since we are also big fans of nut butters, we like to take advantage of every opportunity we get to test some new ones. Recently, we came across a few butters from the KetoDiet brand that caught our eye with their original ingredients. So we have no choice but to give them a good look in our detailed review.

In total, we look at 4 different protein butters, two of which can be labeledas classic nut butters, while the other two are made from shea butter. How did we like these butters? And can they compete with the best butters on the market?

But KetoDiet also sells standalone foods with increased protein content that you can easily enjoy without having to automatically follow a keto diet. Thanks to their excellent nutritional values, they fit into every athlete's diet.

1. Keto Rafael

Keto Rafael review

Basic information
  • Name.
  • Weight: 220 grams
  • Price:
  • Our rating: 10/10

How do we rate the ingredients?

We probably have nothing to fault the ingredients of Keto Rafael at all. 40% of the product is made up of blanched almonds, and 32% is grated coconut. This means that compared to the other butters in their range, this one has a pretty high nut content. However, it is also sweetened with erythritol, which studies have shown, among other things, does not promote tooth decay compared to sugar. In addition, the product contains skimmed milk powder and 8% whey blend, which is a combination of concentrated whey protein powder and sunflower lecithin.

How did we like the butter?

As the name of this butter suggests, Keto Rafael is perfect for Raffaello lovers. The butter shows a bright and pleasant taste of both almonds and coconut, which also smells very intensely of the butter. The butter is quite sweet, but still contains only 7.3 grams of simple sugars. As a result, the butter has only 571 kcal per 100 grams of product, which is very pleasant compared to competing products. It is also worth noting that 19% of the product is protein, so by adding this it hasthis product to your breakfast granola or bread, for example, you can enrich your meal with the necessary proteins.

Conclusion

What can we fault this butter for? Probably nothing at all. Keto Rafael is tasty, just sweet enough, and has a good composition, which further emphasizes the perfect nutritional values. It doesn't contain too many calories, there is a good portion of protein and more than 70% of the product is nuts. If you're on the fence about which Keto Diet butter to try, this is definitely the one we'd recommend.

2. Keto Nutty

ketonutty ketodiet reviews

Basic information
  • Name: Keto Nutty - protein cream with birch sugar
  • Weight: 220 g
  • Price:
  • Our rating: 9,5/10

How do we rate the ingredients?

Keto Nutty contains a total of 52.5% roasted hazelnut kernels, birch sugar, dried skimmedIt is made with dried milk, whey (whey concentrate and sunflower lecithin) and cocoa. These are therefore all quality ingredients and there is basically nothing to fault them. It could be argued that competing products contain a higher proportion of nutsHowever, Keto Nutty compensates for this by containing birch sugar (xylitol) instead of regular sugar. Birch sugar contains far fewer calories and is less harmful to teeth. This choice has definitely paid off for the manufacturer, as Keto Nutty contains less than 600 kcal per 100g of product, which is quite good compared to most of the competition. Of course, we must not forget the high protein content (21 g per 100 g) thanks to the added whey concentrate.

How did we like the butter?

The consistency of Keto Nutty is quite runny, which may not suit everyone, however, this is exactly the consistency I personally prefer. Taste-wise, Keto Nutty is absolutely perfect. It has a very distinct hazelnut and cocoa flavour, which makes for a really amazing combo. It tastes quite similar to the popular Nutella, which is definitely a big plus for many people.

Conclusion

Keto Nutty is a delicious butter that will win you over with both its ingredients and, of course, its delicious taste. However, if I had to fault it for anything, it would be the high carbohydrate content, which is due to the lower proportion of nuts in the formula. While there are better options in this regard, it really isn't a disaster given the relatively low total calorie content.

3. Keto Bueno

ketodiet keto bueno review

BASIC INFORMATION
  • Keto Bueno - protein cream with birch sugar
  • Weight: 220 g
  • Price:
  • Our rating: 9/10

How do we rate the ingredients?

Compositionally, Keto Bueno is not much different from Keto Nutty. It contains 55% roasted hazelnut kernels, birch sugar, dried skimmedmilk and whey blend (whey concentrate and sunflower lecithin). The only difference is the slightly higher nut content and the absence of cocoa. As in the previous case, there is basically nothing to criticise here. The nutritional values of Keto Bueno are even slightly better, as it contains only 521 kcal per 100g of product, which is really low compared to the competition.

How did we like the butter?

While Keto Nutty will be most enjoyed by Nutella lovers, Keto Bueno will be appreciated above all bym fans of the popular Kinder Bueno (which is not too surprising given the name of the butter). In this case, the hazelnuts stand out much more, and although the ingredients lack cocoa, the butter is sweet enough. At the same time, it's not overly sweet either, which I was honestly quite worried about at the beginning. Personally, I'm more of a Keto Nutty fan, but that's a very subjective opinion, because for many people it can be exactly the opposite. Whichever you choose, you'll definitely be delighted with the taste.

Conclusion

The great thing about Keto Bueno is that while there are countless Nutella substitutes, there certainly aren't that many products resembling Kinder Bueno. If you're looking for a nut butter with a truly quality formula that you're guaranteed to enjoy, give Keto Bueno a chance and you won't regret it.

4. Protein cream with hazelnuts and chocolate

Hazelnut and Choco Cream

BASIC INFORMATION
  • Name: protein cream with hazelnuts - chocolate flavour
  • Weight: 250 g
  • Price:
  • Our rating: 8/10

How do we rate the ingredients?

KetoDiet's chocolate hazelnut protein cream is made from shea butter, rawIt is made from a blend of butter, whey concentrate, maltitol, cocoa powder, hazelnuts, rapeseed lecithin and flavouring. The nut content in this case is only 5.8%, so it is not a traditional nut butter. The base of the cream is shea butter, which is particularly popular as a cosmetic supplement with very versatile uses. However, it can also be used for frying or as part of butters and similar products. It is also often added to high-quality cakes and chocolate products. The great advantage of shea butter is its high mineral and vitamin content and its excellent consistency.

In addition, we must appreciate the presence of whey concentrate, which gives the cream a ratio ofand the sweetener maltitol, which is a healthier alternative to regular sugar. Although the nut content is not very high, it is clear that the aim of the manufacturer was not to create a classic nut butter. The ingredients do not contain any controversial substances and there is therefore nothing to criticise.

How did we like the protein cream?

Given the lower nut content, it probably comes as no surprise that the nut flavour is not as pronounced as in the previous two butters. On the other hand, the cocoa powder is quite pronounced, which makes the cream quite sweet. Although I wasn't as impressed by it flavour-wise as Ketu Nutty or Keto Bueno, the consistency was absolutely great and very good for spreading.

Conclusion

Protein cream with hazelnuts and chocolate with its taste is quite different from hazelnut butters, which may or may not be to your liking. Personally, I wasn't as pleasantly surprised in this case as I was with the previous two products, however if you're looking for quality cocoa cream to flavour pancakes or some baked goods, the protein hazelnut cream is worth a try.

5. Protein cream with salted caramel

Ketodiet protein cream with salted caramel

BASIC INFORMATION
  • Name: Protein Cream - Salted Caramel flavour
  • Weight: 250 g
  • Price:
  • Our rating: 8/10

How do we rate the ingredients?

The Protein Cream Salted Caramel flavour is the only one of all the products mentioned that does not contain any nuts. The base is again shea butter and in addition to that, the ingredients include maltitol, milk protein concentrate, andt, skimmed milk powder, flavouring, rapeseed lecithin, cocoa powder, Himalayan salt and carotenes. The composition is particularly noteworthy for its very low content of simple sugars (only 1,7 g per 100 g of product) and the presence of a quality protein source. Nevertheless, we would have appreciated it if the manufacturer had specified more precisely what type of milk protein it is. However, even in this case there is nothing else to fault about the composition.

How did we like the protein cream?

Salted caramel is a flavour that may not suit everyone. I personally don't count myself among its biggest fans, but on the other hand, I don't shy away from it either. In my opinion, the protein cream with salted caramel flavour is slightly above average in terms of taste. I can't say that I'm ecstatic about it, but at the same time, I can't say that I'd have to force myself to eat it. Combined with a good pastry or perhaps pancakes, you will definitely enjoy it.

Conclusion

If you are a fan of salted caramel, you will absolutely love this protein cream. You can enjoy it alone on a spoon or in combination with, for example, pastries. Either way, you will definitely be satisfied. At the same time, it is worth adding that this is the cheapest product in this review, so the resulting value for money is absolutely great in this case.

Try Salty Caramel Cream

Summary at the end

KetoDiet's protein butters and creams can definitely compete with other products on the market in terms of their ingredients and taste. Especially the nut butters Keto Nutty and Keto Bueno are guaranteed to make you fall in love and not want to take them off your hands. The only problem I see with KetoDiet's protein butters is the relatively high price. Competing products come out much cheaper on average, even though they often contain a much higher proportion of nuts. On the other hand, it's fair to say that in terms of taste and nutritional value, there's nothing to fault either of the butters, which is of course a big plus.

If neither butter appeals to you, don't overlook our comparison of the best nut butters, from which you're guaranteed to choose.
