Omega 3s are a very neglected supplement nowadays. And it probably comes as no surprise that for many athletes a pre-workout, creatine or even a protein is much more attractive at first glance. In fact, Omega 3s don't promise faster muscle growth or better concentration for training. Yet they have a lot to offer. And when you start looking for the best quality ones, you may well come across products from Minus Age. Their fish oil capsules will therefore be the subject of today's review.
Content of the review
To start with, you may have already come across Minus Age products, for example in our reviews of NMN or their Resveratrol product.
Great and concentrated formula
There are a number of reasons to use omega 3 and we have mentioned them in the following articlesfor example in one of our previous articles. Specifically, Minus Age's omega 3 offers as much as 1000 mg of fish oil in one capsule, which contains 330 mg of EPA, 220 mg of DHA and 5 mg of vitamin E. That's both the ideal ratio between EPA and DHA from our perspective and in terms of concentration of active ingredients. In fact, for comparison's sake, it is worth adding that some competing manufacturers have significantly lower levels of active ingredients. On a positive note, we must also appreciate the fact that each capsule is packaged separately in a blister pack, which may have a positive effect on the shelf life of the product.

How is omega 3 taken?
Although, due to the concentrated composition, it would be sufficient to use one capsule per day, the manufacturer recommends using two. We therefore took the product in accordance with the recommended dosage. At the same time, we must point out that it is always a good idea to wash down the capsules with a sufficient amount ofm of water, and for us it is best to take omega 3 after meals to eliminate the unpleasant aftertaste.
How do we rate the price?
If Minus Age's capsules have any disadvantage, it's the relatively higher price compared to compared to some of the other supplements in our comparison of the best omega 3s. While the capsules are very concentrated, at the time of writing this review you'll pay 590 crowns for a pack of 90 capsules, which frankly isn't exactly cheap. If you take just one capsule every day, the pack will last you 3 monthsand in that case the price per daily dose is not the highest either.
Do you notice any effect?
Of course, it's very difficult to assess the effect of omega 3 at first glance and, frankly, we don't recommend having exaggerated expectations of them. However, if you have a significant disparity between omega 6 and omega 3, additional omega 3 supplementation may have the opposite effect.effect, helping to maintain normal brain function, vision and even blood pressure. Omega 3 is therefore definitely one of the essential supplements we recommend to all athletes.
Conclusion.
What to say in conclusion? Perhaps only what we repeat quite often with products from Minus Age. That is, that it is a great product, where you can rely on a good composition and quality input ingredients. As always, however, the price is a minor drawback, because if the recommended dosage is followed, the product can be relatively expensive. So if you don't mind paying extra for quality supplements, Minus Age may be a good choice. However, if you're looking for slightly cheaper products instead, you can reach for one of the products listed within our comparison of the best omega 3s.
