Nowadays, for some unfathomable reason, it's a big trend to save on your own nutrition, which some manufacturers are taking advantage of. Is it possible to find a good quality supplement in such cheap supplements? And how do the proteins from NaMaximum, which are among the cheapest ever, stand up? That's what we looked at in today's review.

A completely safe formula that's no problem to invest in
It's clear to me that there were two camps of people before this review. Those who would never buy a protein for and those who buy it regularly. And although I often stand on the opposite side when it comes to other companies, I'm happy to stand behind NaMaximum as well. In fact, whey protein for some of the company's products is supplied by Volac, which supplies many of the world's leading brands. It is worth mentioning such giants as SizeAndSymmetry or Yamamoto Nutrition. The problem is that these companies want significantly more money for their products.
In order to have confirmation from experts, I consulted this protein with several leading Czech supplementation experts and was told that this company's proteinsThis company's proteins are indeed good nutritionally, not only in terms of protein, minimal carbohydrate and fat content, but they are also rich in micronutrients. Moreover, it is the CFM variant of proteins that is promoted by everyone, so the manufacturer could not cheat its product in terms of the production process. Thus, as far as the composition of the protein is concerned, there is nothing to complain about. The unflavoured variant does not contain anything else than the protein treated in this way, in the flavoured flavours you will find flavouring and a non-toxic sweetener called sucralose.
Unfortunately, the preparation process is made worse by the high foaming
If there's one thing I must not leave out of today's review, it's the pronounced foaminess. I didn't notice it so much in the flavoured flavours, but the natural variant foamed really extremely when brewed in the shaker. At first, the protein wouldn't dissolve and kept clumping, but when we finally stirred it, the foam reached the rim of the shaker. This still isn't anything that put us off in any way, though, as the frothiness was substantial with the flavored variants and it didn't hinder anything because the protein was still easy to drink.
I dissolved one batch in 300ml of water so that I could also compare WPC80 to other proteins I had previously tested, but nonesome of the flavours would have deserved a little more water in this case as they are quite sweet.
Flavours that don't please but don't offend either
We tried Protein WPC 80 CFM in all five of the available flavours (Natural, Mocca, Chocomilk, Butter Cookies and Caramel Coffee) and our impressions vary widely. While some flavours absolutely wowed us, others felt very artificial and over-sweetened. So our overall assessment of each flavour goes something like this:
- The Chocomilk flavour (9.5/10) was definitely the best possible variant I tasted. I must admit that I was quite scared of this flavour at first, but it was the only one that I didn't find so over-sweetened and, ironically, it didn't feel artificial either. It tasted pleasant, roughly like a combination of vanilla and white chocolate. It had a creamy consistency and I really liked this taste. I therefore rate it 9.5 out of 10.
- The unflavored version (7/10) is more suitable for baking or rose than for regular consumption.but even after mixing in a shaker it was not bad. The taste is of course very reminiscent of milk that has been diluted with water, but at least it doesn't feel artificial and over-sweetened, which is not the case with the other flavours. I therefore give it 7 points out of 10.
- I would personally placeButter Cookies (6.5/10) somewhere in the middle of our comparison. I consider the relatively good taste to be a big benefit, as the butter cookies actually reminded us of butter cookies, even the protein wasn't that sweet. Unfortunately, however, our overall impression is spoiled by the artificial aftertaste, which is already somewhat more noticeable. Compared to the rest of the flavours, however, it's by no means that bad. I therefore give Butter Cookies 6.5 points out of 10.
- Caramel Coffee (6/10) reminded me at first glance of the caramel variant of Prom-In's CFM Evolution protein. However, after dissolving in 300ml of water, it smelled much more artificial, and the taste was also rather distantly reminiscent of caramel. And when the chemical aftertaste was added to it, this variant does not deserve more than 6 points from us.
- Mocca (5/10) was a flavour I found very difficult to recognise. It is quite difficult for me to define in any way what the flavour brings to meI could only perceive an extremely sweet taste with an artificial aftertaste. If you use more water and don't mind the more artificial flavours, then I believe Mocca may appeal to you. However, I was not satisfied, and that's why I rate it 5 points.
A price so low you can't resist
If there's anything that makes WPC80 the best protein on the market, it's without a doubt the price. You'll pay for a one-kilogram unflavoured pack, and more for the flavoured version. Unfortunately, the flavored proteins are not available in a two-kilogram variant, which I consider a minor minus. However, due to the low price, it is still worth buying more kilos than buying a larger pack from another manufacturer.
Where to buy this protein cheapest?
Final Evaluation - Definitely not the absolute top of the line, but a great choice for students
There's no point in kidding yourself that this protein is one of the absolute tops on the market. It lacks any of the digestive enzymes that better proteins already have, nor would many athlete would appreciate the addition of steviol glycosides or at least a minimal representation of whey isolate.
But we are still talking about a protein that costs and for that price it is, I think, more than acceptable. And for that very reason, I think it is definitely the best possible choice for any of you who don't want to spend on supplements unnecessarily. But if you don't mind paying extra for quality, there are definitely better options.
