When the word collagen is mentioned, most women naturally take notice. And no wonder, independent studies have shown many times that this supplement, for example, improves the quality of nails and hair or can reduce the level of arterial stiffness. However, the increased attention is often taken advantage of by various fake brandssupplement brands to sell low-quality and dysfunctional supplements at ridiculously low prices. So when we learned about a collagen latte from a company not very familiar to us, Planet Paleo, we were naturally skeptical. How did it turn out in the end? How do we rate the ingredients of this supplement and what do we say about it in hindsight? Find out in this review.

The composition hardly finds competition
When you're choosing a supplement, you should be interested in the ingredients first of all. If you go by price, you'll probably end up with a cheap but non-functional supplement, which is obviously money wasted. And in this respect, we dare to say that the collagen latte from the British company Planet Paleo stood up to the test. This product comes in several variants, which differ mainly in flavour - For example, there are variants with matcha green tea, turmeric or cocoa, which we got to try.
The basis of this product, and also the active ingredient, is of course collagen. But it is far from ordinary and difficult for the body to use collagen - it is hydrolysed bovine collagen, which is also one of therelatively few products on the market has a grass-fed certification indicating that the cattle used to produce the collagen are 100% free-range. This excellent collagen has been further enriched with a combination of raw cocoa and classic cocoa, dried coconutmilk, sea salt and vanilla, which is the only non-organic ingredient. We simply can't fault such a composition - no unnecessary sugar, no extra ballast. Just quality and honest ingredients.
Easy and hassle-free preparation
We were given the largest pack to try, which weighs 264 grams and contains about 25 servings of product. One serving is represented by one and a half tablespoons, so no problem measuring it out. This amount is then recommended by the manufacturer to be mixed with at least 200 ml of hot milk or warm water - of course it depends primarily on your tasteYour taste preferences and the amount of calories you can afford to take in, but let's face it, the flavour of cocoa obviously comes out much better in milk. Collagen dissolves very easily in warm liquid, so we had no problem with the preparation - but if you would like toIf you wanted to prepare the collagen cold, we recommend using a shaker or stick blender to ensure that the product is really well dissolved.
How does the collagen latte taste?
When it comes to taste, collagen lattes are absolutely delicious whether you choose to whisk them in milk or water. We have to be honest, though, and admit that the cocoa flavour is a little more suited to milk, where all the pleasant chocolate notes can be brought out to the full. Although taste is of course largely subjective, we really liked the fact that this product is not overly sweet. On the other hand, we appreciate that the manufacturer has left out all sweeteners and any other source of simple carbohydrates and has opted for a pure product that tastes completely natural. So you can enjoy the intense taste of bitter cocoa without any negative aftertaste. If you theoretically sweeten the product with honey, for example, you would get a really premium cocoa full of quality collagen.
What effect did we notice?
Since choosing the product to review, we noticed that previous reviews often mention a positive effect on improvinghair quality, we decided to leave this nearly month-long collagen treatment to the female part of our MyFitnessio team. And the result? After nearly a month of use, we could notice less brittleness and frizz.nails, improved hair quality and even better elasticity and hydration of the skin itself. Even in terms of effect, we have no choice but to recommend the product.
The only problem is the price
The only problem we found with the whole product is, as it happens with quality products, the high price. For the aforementioned pack of 25 doses, you will pay about a thousandWe found out that the PraveBio.cz, from which we received the product for review, offers a slightly more pleasant price than many other e-shops. Still, we honestly consider this price to be quite high, as each dose comes out to about 40 crowns. On the other hand, athletes will pay a similar amount for a dose of some quality pre-workout pre-workout, so if you are sleepingmore important to deliver first-class nutrients to your skin, hair, nails and also your musculoskeletal system, it is actually quite understandable.
Final evaluation.
What is left to say in conclusion? This product offers a first-class composition, a really great taste that makes it possible tothat you can enjoy this product with both milk and water, and last but not least, we dare say that it works well. And for these aspects alone, the product undoubtedly deserves a place in our ranking of the best collagens for women. On the other hand, it must be added that the high price is undoubtedly a factor that can ultimately deter many people from buying it. But as it happens, you simply have to pay a little extra for quality supplements. Thus, if you want to take this collagen as your only supplement, it's probably worth paying extra for it. If you already have an arsenal of supplements including a protein, a pre-workout and more supplements, you may want to save money and get a supplement that's available at a lower price. For inspiration on choosing the right collagen to suit your requirements, you can visit the already the aforementioned comparison of the best collagens for women, where you're sure to be able to find other alternatives. Still, if price is not a barrier for you, we can only recommend this product.
