Some people tend not to eat breakfast as a matter of principle, while for others breakfast is an indispensable part of every day. If you'd like to have a little something to eat when you wake up, but don't feel like a big helping of eggs or another hearty breakfast, a greatgranola can be a great solution as it is healthy, tasty and allows you to get enough calories in a relatively small portion. This time, we got the chance to try the Trio Granola Pack from the proven company Powerlogy. Which variant did we like the most? What is its composition? And do we recommend buying it despite the higher price? That's what we'll look at in this review.

The ingredients are second to none
The Trio Granola Pack, as the name suggests, represents three different types of granola, which are of course listed on the manufacturer's website are sold separately, but we decided to do one separate review for several reasons - primarily because the products are basically quite similar. One of the first common features then is the great composition, which is perhaps nothing to complain about. The complete list of ingredients used is attached here for easy reference:
- Organic Almond Granola: Gluten-free oat flakes 55%, coconut sugar 14%, puffed quinoa 5.5%, toasted coconut flakes 5.5%, dry4.4%, almonds 4.4%, flaxseed 4.4%, sesame seeds 3.3%, virgin coconut oil 3.8%, salt 0.6%.
- Honey Strawberry Granola: Organic rice, buckwheat and quinoa flakes 60%, crunchy almonds, honey, shredded coconut, coconut oil, coconut flakes, freeze-dried strawberries.
- Upgraded Chocolate Granola: 40% gluten-free oatmeal, 15.4% chocolate chips (60% cocoa soy lecithin, Madagascar bourbon vanilla), 10% chicory fiber, 5% quinoa flakes5 % coconut flakes, 5 % dried cherries without added sugar, 55 % sesame seeds, 5 % coconut oil, 4 % cocoa, 0,6 % salt.
And it should be noted that the composition of each of the products is really top-notch. All granolas have a relatively high nut or seed content and no gluten (two of the products contain gluten-free oat flakes, and the remaining products contain a naturally gluten-free combination of rice, buckwheat and quinoa flakes). At the same time, they share a relatively high caloric value (about 450 kcal per 100 grams of product), so even a smaller amount of granola can reliably fill you up.
Special attention must be paid to the Upgraded Chocolate Granola, which offers a truly unbeatable and largely innovative formula containing added prebiotic fibre, sugar-free dried fruit and high-quality chocolate chips. So if you are a particularly discerning consumer, this granola may be especially for you.
Top consistency and taste
When it comes to consistency, it is of course absolutely typical for granola proportions. The granola is naturally crunchy and although it may seem a little harder on its own, just give it a momentt in yoghurt or pour milk (cow's, goat's or any milk alternative) and it softens very pleasantly.
As far as the taste is concerned, there is nothing to complain about. The granola tastes completely natural, which we really have to appreciate, although we understand that on the other hand it may not be ideal for everyone. This is especially evident with Upgraded Granola, which has no added sugar, so greatthe slightly bitter taste of the dried cherries and the honest aroma and taste of the cocoa come through. For us, it's perfect, but if you're looking forward to a supermarket-style sweet muesli, you may be disappointed. On the other hand, there's probably no need to debate which of these options is better for your health. The almond and honey granola is slightly sweeter then the almond granola because it contains either natural coconut sugar or honey. However, the completely natural flavour still dominates, without a hint of anything artificial, as is usual with some supermarket cereals. We therefore give the taste 10 points out of 10 without hesitation.
It is wonderfully filling and has many uses
The main thing to appreciate about granola is that it's incredibly filling and really enoughjust a few dozen grams to add to Greek yogurt, good quality milk, or a three-ounce serving of granola.Eat it alone with some fruit or with a little nut cream like the aforementioned BIO Nougat Cream and you will see that even a small portion will fill you up for a really long time.
This is also related to the rich uses. I've been putting my granola in Greek yogurt because if you have a bit of a hectic morning, it's obviously the easiest. But granola can be used in literally a huge number of ways. For example, you can make homemade granola bars fairly easily and you can take those threeOr you can add it to a variety of smoothies, for example with fruit and yoghurt. It is also good in overnight oats, chia puddings and you can even find recommendations to use granola as a sprinkle on some homemade ice cream.
Slightly higher price
As is usual with quality products, you'll have to pay extra for the Trio Granola Pack. And that's regardless of whether you buy the products together or separately. The most expensive is of course the Upgraded variant, which comes in 50 grams less per pack and costs a few tens of crowns more than the remaining products. So, to a large extent, the determining factor for you may be how big an eater you are. Honestly, I eat quite a lot, but 50 grams of granola was perfectly enough for me in combination with Greek yogurtso one four-gram packet is enough for many people for more than 10 servings. And in that case, granola is definitely not a bad investment. However, if you want to eat the whole bag in two days, it will of course become more expensive to buy.
Final assessment.
Powerlogy's granola is a bit more expensive, but otherwise we have nothing to fault it. It tastes great, has a formula without a single flaw and can be used by almost everyone. So if you are thinking about it, we definitely recommend trying it. And since all three variants are delicious, we recommend trying all three granolas at once. And if you want to save a few pennies, put the products in your cart separately. At the same time, we also recommend that you check out our selection of the best granolas, where Powerlogy products are also not to be missed.
