There are dozens of peanut butters on the market and more are added regularly, so regularly to update our ranking of the best nut butters on the market. Still, from time to time a product catches our eye in this crowded segment. And one of them was BIO Nougat Cream from Powerlogy, which prides itself on being 100% organic.
But what does the butter taste like too? Does it actually have anything to offer over cheaper options? And where do we recommend buying it? That's what our review today will be about.

Composition can not be faulted at all
The first of the things that struck us about BIO Nougat Cream, and why we decided to try them too, was the top-notch ingredients. In fact, a full 60% of the product is made up of hazelnuts from Italy. These are BIO certified and you can really tell the difference in their taste and smell - while some haveare quite bland and taste rather bland, Nougat Cream was incredibly full and yet subtle. In addition to the aforementioned hazelnuts, the butter also contains cane sugar, cocoa powder and cocoa mass - again, everything is organic. We simply cannot fault such a composition, because it contains nothing bad at all. Simple sugars account for 23 grams out of 100 grams of butter, but what are we going to say, unsweetened butter wouldn't taste nearly as good. And it's still much lower in sugar than many commercially produced supermarket products.

Taste-wise, the butter was a total bomb
Looking at the name of the product, I thought it was another enticing name, but it really had nothing to do with taste. So I was very surprised when I loaded the butter and it actually smelled and tasted like nougat. One couldn't believe that there were so few ingredients in the ingredients and that the frogspalm oil or other additives that often enhance flavour or consistency. Anyway, after tasting it, I fell completely under the spell of this butter. It has a full, yet incredibly balanced flavour, the best part of which is that it feels completely natural and has no hints of the various unwanted aftertastes that I personally perceive in, say, Nutella. Perhaps the only thing that was a bit disturbing to me were the whole pieces of nuts, which if you spread Nougat Cream on bread or pancakes, for example, a little disturbing. Anyway, it wasn't anything that couldn't be endured and the whole product worked really well for me, so I'll definitely be happy to come back to it in the future.

The butter is more expensive in price, but definitely worth a try
Price-wise, the butter comes out quite expensive, we have to admit that quite frankly. While some of the butters on our list cost less than , Powerlogy's butter comes out to more than double that. However, since these are not inferior ingredients, but quality ingredients, we don't mind the higher price. We understand that the product probably won't appeal to everyone, and perhaps students who have to probably won't have the budget for such butters. But we still believe that the product will find its takers. And, frankly, if you want a product of the highest possible quality, you'll be hard pressed to find anything better. We will definitely return to BIO Nougat Cream and will be happy to order it again.
Do we recommend BIO Nougat Cream or not?
In conclusion, it remains to summarize our overall impressions of this product. BIO Nougat Cream is honestly one of the more expensive butters, and that may make many people uninterested. However, when you consider that it's made entirely from BIO ingredients and contains absolutely no controversial or inappropriate ingredients, there's nothing to worry about. And as a bonus, it tastes amazing - believe it or not, the difference from cheaper butters is really noticeable. And for that reason alone, we recommend giving the butter a try.
