If you've been following the sports equipment and nutrition market for a while, you'll we don't need to remind you how many completely useless products have emerged over time. Fortunately, what they all have in common is that a few years later, no one even remembers them. However, from time to time you may find that you are unable to distinguish one of these products from something that really has great potential and is definitely worth trying. We will admit straight up that this was exactly the case with our Pranamat ECO acupressure pad. But then we tried it and now we can't get enough of it. We would like to share our experience with you as part of this comprehensive review.
Content of the review
Delivery and first impressions
We arranged to try the Pranamat ECO pad on Monday and had it home by Thursday. The package was of course honestly packed and the pad itself was in a second box, so you don't have to worry about anything happening to your purchase in transit.
Once the package arrived, of course we couldn't resist and had to try the Pranamat right away in our newsroom. And we have to be honest and admit that at first we felt that lying on this pad was simply unbearable. The individual spikes are really quite sharp and when you lie down on it, it starts to runyour whole body will burn slightly and your skin will be slightly red.
So our initial impression was pretty much similar to what the company itself presents in one of the short spots on its YouTube channel:
Design and comparison with competitors
The Pranamat ECO acupressure pad is so popular that over time a number of significantly cheaper imitations have been produced. It is fair to say, however, that the Pranamat ECO beats them hands down. And now we can look at the individual details we found interesting when using Pranamat ECO in more detail.
Design and materials
It is obvious at first glance from the design of the pad that really high quality materials have been used. The large and small pads have an inner part made of relatively hard coir fibre, which, unlike thel, for example, from the foam used by cheap competitors, ensures a constant shape of the pad and you will not feel yourself sinking into it. The filling of the pad is made of buckwheat hulls and all the covers are made of 100% organic cotton. The difference from other products is of course obvious from the first moment you see the design and the materials used. and from our point of view, it makes perfect sense that a product that comes in directcontact with your body, you know exactly what materials have been used and you can be sure thatthat the pad does not contain any harmful adhesives, potentially dangerous plastics or anything like that.
Short-term effect
Following on from our initial impressions mentioned earlier in this review, it's worth mentioning that we heard Pranamat ECOWe had to use clothing initially as the massage was very intense when in direct contact with the skin. For the first few days, we found the first five minutes on the pad relatively challenging and we definitely didn't feel comfortable, but once we got used to the action of the spikes, it was quite pleasant. After the aforementioned five minutes, the skin was already quite red and mythe areas that were in contact with the pad were flooded with a gentle feeling of warmth and a pleasant tingling sensation. However, the redness of the skin completely disappeared within a few minutes each time. At this stage, for us, Pranamat ECO was primarily a way of supporting muscle recovery after training and we have to admit that it was really functional in this respect. In fact, muscles tired and slightly stiff from the gym were awakened quite effectively by a few minutes on Pranamat ECO and we functioned much better later in the day.
Long-term effect
As the length of time we used the Pranamat ECO increased, so did the range of uses and positive effects we experienced with this mat. For example, for us, being on the Pranamat was a great form of relaxation before sleep, for example, and we made this massage a ritual to help us fall asleep.
In addition, however, we have to say that the Pranamat is an effective helper, for example, whenlower back pain, which is quite common among strength athletes. It is the lower back that is subjected to quite a lot of pressure in manyand can be systematically overloaded. As part of the compensatory exercises, a stay at Pranamat ECO can be a really great choice, which you, like us, may well love.
Among the effects we have observed with the use of this mat, it is worth mentioning the positive effect on the most variedheadaches, migraines or pinched nerves, which many athletes also experience from time to time. As we in our editorial office are quite susceptible to pinching of various parts of the cervical spine due to our sedentary work, we really appreciated the so-called. We really appreciated the marigold that we got in addition to the full-body massage set.

However, the basic problem inherent in the Pranamat ECO, which is also the reason why so many cheaper alternatives have been created, is the relatively high price. However, it largely depends on what you're comparing the product to, because whenLet's face it, for example, regular massages are nowadays quite expensive. Not to mention that you have to take into account the fact that this is not a two-month investment like, for exampleIt's an investment in a product that will last with you for a couple of years. As we mentioned earlier in this review, Pranamat ECO offers up to a five-year warranty, so of course you can assume that this product will last a while.

What to say in conclusion? Perhaps only that we were really excited about Pranamat ECO. Even though you have to pay extra for it, it offers a really unbeatable effect and most importantly - it's health friendly and will last you a really long time, sowhen you convert the price into the number of days you spend on one pad, the price is not as bad as it may seem at first glance. And the effects that Pranamat delivers are unbeatable. We have been absolutely delighted with this massage pad and dare to say that it really is an excellent investment in your health and not only your physical but also your mental well-being.
