Generally speaking, most supplements come in either powder or capsule form. If you have seen, for example, our comparison of the best probiotics, you will not be surprised to see that all the products come in the capsules mentioned above. GymBeam, however, breaks down these preconceived notions with its product in the form of a jelly. But is it a good option? How does such a jelly actually taste? And can it compete in terms of composition with the best products on the market? That's what we'll look at in this independent review.
Content of the review
What do Yummies probiotics contain?
Yummies probiotics are primarily made up of bacillus coagulans, one of the very important probiotic strains that positively influence our microbiome. And as we mentioned in our separate article, it is the microbiome that is responsible for optimizing ourour gut, the digestion of fibre and, according to some studies, can even influence brain and heart health. Specifically, in the case of Yummies probiotics, you get up to 5 billion liveCFUs, which is significantly more than many competing supplements. On the other hand, it should be noted that a minor drawback is that only a single strain of bacteria is represented in this jellyas products with a greater variety of strains may be a better choice in some cases. Although gelatine candies are not usually suitable for vegetarians, GymBeam Yummies can even be used by vegans, which we also consider a big plus.
How to take Yummies probiotics?
Yummies probiotics are relatively simple to take, as you just need to have 2 jellybeans every day and you're good to go. Honestly, you probably wouldn't even know they were probiotics by the taste. And it's fair to say that if you're taking multiple different supplements and a significant amount ofof them are in tablets, for example, the jellies are a nice change because you don't necessarily have to take them with water. That's what makes them convenient to take and we really liked it.
Who are they suitable for?
Because Yummies probiotics don't need to be taken with water, they are a great alternative to regular tablets and they taste delicious, becausethey have a cherry flavour (which doesn't feel artificial thanks to the natural cherry flavour). We do not use probiotics regularly, but only in exceptional cases. It is therefore worth noting that they are important, for example, when taking antibiotics, when feeling bloated on the stomach or when taking aor in situations where, for example, you travel to other countries and are exposed to a different diet than you are normally used to.
What do we say about the price?
A packet of these probiotics contains 60 pieces of jelly, which is equivalent to one month's worth. At the time of writing this review, this pack costs 239 crowns, a price comparable to competing products on the market. However, it should be added that many of the products represented in our comparison of the best probiotics at this price offer a pack for two months. However, given that probiotics don't necessarily have a fixed place in supplementation, it's certainly not necessary to have several months' supply at home. Therefore, the size of the GymBeam pack is perfectly fine, although the price is a bit more challengingthan what we are used to from this company, but it is still not out of line with the price average.
Final assessment: probiotics that are worth a try
GymBeam Yummies is a novel probiotic that offers relatively good value for money, greatThey taste great, and when their use is warranted, they actually work. So we definitely recommend giving them a try.
