We have only recently come across the products of Protein&Co in our reviews, namely their flagship CFM Whey Protein 80. But we were so impressed with it that we didn't hesitate to review the otherother products and among them was their multi-ingredient product aptly named Snack It. How does it taste? And can an ordinary protein really fight off hunger? That's what we'll look at in this review.
Content of the review
At the beginning it remains to point out that this product is part of our ranking of the best multi-ingredient proteins, so if you're interested in a more comprehensive comparison with other products than a detailed review, check out the aforementioned ranking. But now back to the topic of today's review.
Comprehensive formulation for maximum results
Although whey proteins are the most popular in the world of sports nutrition, the more complexprotein proteins also have huge merit and in some situations may even be better than whey ones. Specifically, Snack It is a combination of CFM whey concentrate, CFM whey isolate, egg protein, pea protein and milk concentrate. In addition to this, you will also find chicory fiber in the product and again Opti-7-Digest, which Protein&Co also uses in the aforementioned CFM Whey Protein 80, which we have already written a separate review about. Sucralose was used to sweeten the product, and the product contains natural vanilla flavouring for the vanilla flavour and cocoa for the chocolate version.
How to use Snack It?
The great advantage of multi-ingredient protein is that each of the protein sources is released at a different rate, which means Snack It can beSnack It can come in handy in situations where you don't quite manage to eat a regular meal or, for example, you don't have the opportunity to eat in peace because of work. When you take 45 grams of this product and mix it with 300 to 400 ml of water using a shaker, you get a relatively thick drink with a creamy consistency. It doesn't foam or lump unnecessarily during preparation, so it's ready in no time and you can have it absolutely anywhere.
Can it fill you up? And how does it taste?
Another important aspect when choosing the ideal protein is, of course, taste. And while the previously reviewed CFM Whey Protein 80 comes in 12 different flavoursflavours, until recently you could only find Snack It in two, the relatively conservative vanilla and chocolate. However, the new coconut flavour is also available on the official website and due to high demand, it's likely that more will be added in the near future. Although there aren't exactly a lot of flavours, whichever one you choose, you can look forward to a naturally tasting and beautifully creamy protein, and the great thing about it is that it can really fill you up. Although we were quite sceptical about it at first, due to the thick consistency you really won't be hungry for a few hours after drinking it. Of course, the protein is not a substitute for a good and varied diet, but as a solution to difficult conditions, it stands up to the test.
How do we rate the price?
Snack It, again like the other products in the Protein & Co repertoire, comes in two different variants. Firstly, you can buy a classic kilo of this protein, which at the time of writing this review will set you back 569 crowns, which we think is a very nice price. The second option, however, is to reach for the discounted two-pack of two kilos, which comes out to 999 crowns, and that's for ours really very nice and in this case the products from Protein & Co. are hard to find competition. It is also worth adding that if you decide to buy two kilos at once, you can choose two identicalSo there are no restrictions in this respect.
One of the best multi-ingredient proteins
In conclusion, we have no choice but to repeat what we mentioned in previous reviews of Protein & Co. products. If you buy this multi-ingredient protein, you can look forward to a good taste, great ingredients and, what is really important for many athletes, a very pleasant price. Ultimately, therefore, we think that Snack It from Protein & Co is rightfully one of the best multi-ingredient proteins on the market, and if you're more attracted to multi-ingredients than classic whey proteins, we'd recommend giving this product a try with all ten.
