Supplements that promise a radical increase in testosterone, and thus an imaginary transformation into a mane, uncontrollable muscle growth, maximum recovery and who knows what else, I always avoided as much as possible. I have always considered such supplements to be mere money grabbers, which in reality do not work at all. But when the opportunity to try Testo X-blend from SizeAndSymmetry came up, I went for it.
Did this supplement change my opinion radically? Is it really a legal substitute for anabolics? Did it have any side effects? Find out all this and much more in today's review
Content of the review
At the beginning, I can only add why I decided to test this supplement in the first place. First of all, it has a much better composition than supplements containing only ground anemone and secondly, out of curiosity as to whether a legal supplement can really affect testosterone levels in any radical way. So you can read my experience and findings below.
A working supplement thanks to a very decent composition
As I already mentioned in the previous paragraph, I tried Testo X-Blend mainly because it contains much more than just an anchor. Specifically, in one daily dose, represented by 3 tablets, you will find:
- 450mg of anemone officinalis, which is a very popular, yet relatively controversial ingredient in almost every testosterone booster available. Why controversial? For one thing, each supplement is different and each contains different amounts of active saponins, for another, it is considerably scientific studies conducted on athletes vary widely (some refute any effect, others confirm itbut athletes take a combination of several substances, etc.). However, this does not change the fact that tribulus terrestris contains many alkaloids, minerals, saponins and other components that you will appreciate as an athlete.
- 600mg of D-aspartic acid, an important form of aspartic acid that has been shown to increases luteinizing hormone levels and the rate of growth hormone secretion, which is responsible for muscle growth. It has also been scientific studies have been found to improve brain function, memory and concentration.
- 300mg of Maca peruviana, which, like anemone, is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids. It is often referred to as a superfood and has been used by Native American tribes for centuries. As with the anemone, we allude to the fact that the increase in testosterone itself is quite debatable, however, it is certainly clear that it helps to optimize the ratio of anabolic to catabolic hormones.
- 150mg of ginseng extract, which again, can optimize hormones in the body very well. This is due to ginseng's ability to increase levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), which is further responsible for activating testosterone-boosting enzymes, luteinizing hormone and more.
- 30mcq of vitaminD3, which plays an absolutely vital role in the proper functioning of the metabolism- providing everything from absorptioncalcium absorption to optimal immune system function and proper muscle function.
From my point of view, what this supplement lacks in terms of perfection is, for example, zinc, which also plays a very important role However, I have to rate the composition very positively.
What can you expect from this supplement?
I personally was very satisfied with Testo X-Blend, however, the basic criterion determining satisfaction is your expectations. This is because there is an absolutely crucial difference between hormonal optimization and testosterone boosting. For example, if you have been feeling unwell for a long time, don't want to work or exercise and are tired all day, it could be (among other things) low testosterone. And in this case, Testo X-Blend is a good one to take.
But if you buy it and hope that you'll suddenly start growing muscles without putting in any more hard work, you're obviously mistaken and you'll only be throwing money away. You won't get that effect even when taking anabolic steroids, and they are of course a million times more effectivethan similar "legal substitutes" in the form of supplements (but they have side effects, unlike this supplement).
When and how did I take Testo X- Blend?
Although the manufacturer advises on the packaging to take 3 capsules in the evening before bed, I took this dose after my workout along with one zinc tablet. Why? Precisely because of the hormonal optimization I wrote about above. Because after training, the level of anabolic hormones is very low and the body is in a catabolic state. Zinc, like some of the ingredients in this supplement, plays a very significant role in bringing the ratio of anabolic and catabolic hormones back to normal. I always take the capsules with a sufficient amount of water or a protein drink.
Absolutely adequate price
One pack of Testo X-Blend will set you back . While this may seem like a relatively high price at first glance, it is important to remember that it is partly determined by the high quality of the input ingredients. For example, such an anvil varies greatly depending on the specific supplement. The key is not the amount of anemone, but the concentration of steroidal saponins and other active substances that influence its effect. And when it comes to the quality of the substances used, SizeAndSymmetry has absolutely nothing to complain about.
However, as it is our custom, we have to point out that this supplement is by no means necessary. If you are on a tight budget and do not want to invest even a penny more in supplements than necessary, you can safely skip Testo X-Blend.
Final evaluation
In conclusion, I have to say that I rate this product very positively indeed. It had a very positive effect on me, I definitely felt much less fatigue even during hard workouts and I had much more energy to work out as well. But you definitely can't expect a radical increase in muscle mass and recovery such that you can start two-phase workouts from one day to the next. But if you're just looking for a supplement to optimize your hormones, Testo X-Blend is definitely worth a try.
