Although Suprex has been on the market for some time, we have only just got around to testing it in detail. One of the first products we tested was Joint Drink, which has several differences from competing supplements.
How does chocolate-flavoured joint nutrition work? Does it taste good? Which ingredients do we appreciate? Find out that and much more in today's review.
Content of the review
At the beginning, it remains to add that we tested Joint Drink for about two months to make our review as comprehensive and objective as possible.
Comprehensive and original composition
Having thoroughly studied the composition of Joint Drink, I must admit right away that I was really excited about it. In this joint nutrition you will find everything your joints need and much more. And I really have to appreciate the use of ingredients that no one else uses, such as salicin. The total list of ingredients looks something like this:
- Enzymatically hydrolyzed collagen and fish collagen peptides, which is many times better than type I, II or III collagen. Collagen peptides stimulate cartilage to produce collagen, which, for example, type II collagen alone does not.
- Glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, methylsulfonylmethane, a very proven trio for healthy joints. However, it is advisable to use these substances for a longer period of time, as their effect will only fully manifest itself after several weeks of use.
- Sodium hyaluronate, which is a very important component of synovial fluid.
- White willow extract (15% salicin), which is a very effective substance for reducing joint pain, even in rheumatic disorders. At higher doses it can cause intestinal problems, eachHowever, if this is the only source in your diet, you have nothing to worry about.
- Boswellia serrata extract (65% boswellic acid), another substance with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Enzyme premix (amylase, lactase, protease, lipase, cellulase, bromelain, papain) for maximum digestibility
- Dl-alpha-tocopherol acetate, which affects over 200 chemical reactions in the body. In joint nutrition, it is mainly included because it improves the building ofcalcium incorporation into bones, thus contributing to their strength.
- Black pepper extract (95% piperine), which serves to improve the absorption of other substances.
Other ingredients worth mentioning include chocolate base, chocolate flavouring and sucralose, which are very well chosen ingredients. No controversial substances, potentially dangerous sweeteners, preservatives or other unnecessary ingredients. We have absolutely nothing to fault this composition.
The best possible prevention
I took the joint nutrition, as I have already stated in the introduction, for about two months to sponsor the effect as much as possible. And even though I had no serious problems with my joint apparatus, I was quite often worried before II was troubled by minor injuries caused by intensive training. After about two weeks of use, however, all these problems disappeared and did not appear even after discontinuation. For this reason, I think that Suprex is really worthwhile as a prevention and I definitely recommend it to every athlete.
You will need a shaker to prepare
I tried to dissolve my first dose of Joint Drink without using a shaker, as I was used to it from other supplements. Unfortunately, this proved to be quite a problem as in the jar this joint nutrition just formed lumps and didn't dissolve. However, if you use a shaker, it dissolves without any problems, it doesn't foam at all and after just a few shakes of the shaker you get rid of the lumps completely.
Tastefully very interesting supplement
With joint nutrition you are certainly used to fruity flavours, especially lemon, grapefruit and the like. Suprex decided to go a slightly different route and created a chocolate-flavoured supplement, which is really unusual. And despite the critical reviews from some previous users, I have to say that I liked the chocolate variant.
Of course, it can't be compared to chocolate proteins, whose taste is much better and the consistency of the crèmebut I was surprised how good and, within limits, natural the chocolate variant looks. You really won't have the slightest problem drinking the joint nutrition and even enjoying it. So I rate this variant 8.5 out of 10 and definitely recommend it.
A more expensive investment
When you take into account that the whole 450 gram pack costs without discounts, one dose costs . If you compare it with, for example, the similarly named Joint Care Drink, the price is almost half. On the other hand, it is still quite high, because at the other end of the spectrum there are much cheaper supplements. That's why I would definitely recommend Joint Drink to athletes who are undergoing rigorous training and therefore have increased demands.
Final evaluation
A very good tasting joint food that definitely has a good effect. As is usual with similar products, the price is quite challenging. So if you want to take joint nutrition more for prevention and you are a young persongym-goers, I would save money and invest in cheaper nutrition. But for those of you who like to pay more for quality, Suprex is a great choice.
