How would you look if someone told you that you could make money just by walking? You probably wouldn't believe it at all, or at least you would find it very suspicious. But Sweatcoin can actually make you money. How is this possible and how many steps do you need to take? Find out in today's review.
Content of the review
At the beginning it remains to add that I have been testing the app for several weeks, so I will also warn you about the possible negatives of this app. But now let's get into the review itself
How does it all work? Isn't it a scam?
The functioning of the whole app is very simple. You download it, verify your identity, phone number and other basic information and all you have to do is put your phone in your pocket and walk. For every 1000 steps you take, you will receive one Sweatcoin. And when you've earned enough, you'll be able to buy a TV, a smartwatch, a five-day stay at Disneyland and more.
But as we'll explain in the following paragraphs, walking won't get you a new home in the next few years. But if you let go of material desires, you can use your walking to help plant new trees, for example., support gender balance in Burkina Faso, or choose any other crowdfunding project you like. And just the fact that you can help someone with your movement makes this app worthwhile in my opinion.
And how is it that they can afford to pay such valuable prizes? They do have ad revenue, but I have to appreciate that they are not violent and do not interfere with the normal use of the app. You may receive some extra Sweatcoins for viewing an ad, at most you will see a banner from time to time that highlights the companies supporting this project. In addition, of course, the authors of the app also profit from the offers of the goods themselves, because this is also logically good advertising for the manufacturer for their product. This still does not restrict you from using the app, so mymy point of view, it is a very well designed concept that is definitely worth trying out.
Clear processing and ease of use
What I have to really appreciate is the clear processing of the app, which makes it easy to navigate the whole program. Right on the homepage, you can clearly see how many steps you have walked today and how many Sweatcoins you have collected.
By selecting the other tabs , you immediately get the opportunity to spend your virtual seed coins, invite your friends and in the ladder The ladder allows you to see which of them is doing well and to keep track of your status, which can be improved by walking more often.
How much can I really earn by walking?
If you've read my review so far today, you're probably wondering how much you can earn by walking. Considering you have a sedentary job and responsibilities at home, you can walk an average of about 10,000 steps a day, and those which , given the value of the prices you can choose from, would translate to less than .
You can donate any amount you like to various crowdfunding events, but you can buy tangible items starting at around 10,000 Sweatcoins. In practice, this means that you would have to walk for less than 3 years yourself to buy any of these rewards. The offer is really decent though, we can mention these Marathon offers for example:
- €400/19,500 to buy Nike merchandise for 13,000 SWC
- $1,000/$30,000 on KLM flights for 20,000 SWC
- 75" 4K Samsung Smart TV for 20,000 SWC (i.e. )
So it's hard to do without the help of friends or other family members who will send you their coins. On the other hand, with an average profit of per day, you will earn almost per year, which is certainly not a negligible amount.

Will the money really pay you back?
Most of you are probably still wondering if after the constantm inquiries and calling your friends, you'll actually get the promised reward. Therefore, I can confirm from my own experience that the rewards or money will indeed arrive in your account, but only after two weeks. You can choose from both the so-called. "Offers for today," which are mostly subscriptions to some apps, simple or cheap gadgets and similar prizes that change every day.
The other option is the so-called "Offers". "Marathon offers," which are things that are much more expensive, such as iPhones, GoPro and more.but you don't get the item itself, but you get paid the amount on PayPal. Well, if you accumulate a small amount that is not enough for any of these prizes, you can support any charity project.
Does Sweatcoin have any negatives?
As I mentioned once before, Sweatcoin should not be seen as a means to get rich, but you can still support some charitable projects with your walks. A certain tax for this is unfortunately the high battery consumption of the phone, because when using the app, you can't have the battery saver active, which could affect the accuracy of the step count.
However, counting accuracy itself is also a minor issue in my experience. It was common for my watch to count 1500 more steps while walking than the phone's GPS later acknowledged as actually walked.
My opinion on Sweatcoin
Sweatcoin is, from my perspective, an app that you simply and simply must have. While it has its minor negatives, it is still considerably better than going "blank," because whenat the very least, you're supporting a good cause, which from my perspective is a very good reason in itself to download it.
And if you're good at walking and able to connect with your friends, you'll also be able to buy all sorts of things that will practically furnish your household.
