There is no doubt that magnesium is one of the most important minerals for both athletes and the general population. Much has been written about its benefits and you would be hard pressed to find a more frequently supplemented mineral. There are countless dietary supplements on the market containing magnesium, but not all are of sufficient quality. So in today's review, we're going to take a look at Golden Nature's Exclusive Triple Magnesium product, which features three highly effective forms of magnesium. Is this magnesium worth a try? And how does it compare to the best competing products?
Content of the review
Golden Nature is a Czech brand of dietary supplements operating on the market since 2018. All its products are manufactured directly in the Czech Republic and are united by a strong emphasis on quality ingredients and the absence of unnecessary additives. The Golden Nature Exclusive range differs from the regular products by its even higher qualitym composition and greater emphasis on the maximum possible effect of all products.
Three effective forms of magnesium in one
The disadvantage of most magnesium-containing supplements is the low-quality form in which the magnesium is found. Usually this is magnesium oxide, which, although it can help in the case of acute magnesium deficiency, in absolute but in most cases it is very poorly utilized by the body and has almost no effect. However, Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Magnesium is not the case. It contains 3 very high quality and biologically perfectly usable forms of magnesium: bisglycinate, citrate and L-threonate.
Magnesium bisglycinate is one of the best forms of this mineral. Here, magnesium is chelated to two glycine molecules, making it extremely usable. Magnesium citrate is also very popular and appears in a large number of quality dietary supplements. In contrast, magnesium in the form of L-threonate is a relatively uncommon choice. However, this does not mean that it is in any way inferior in quality to citrate and bisglycinate. L-threonate is known for its positive effect on stress levels, the nervous system and sleep quality. Thanks to the content of three extremely high quality forms of magnesium, we have to rate the composition of this product as excellent.
High content of the active substance
The manufacturer recommends taking 2-3 capsules twice a day in total, so one daily dose can be 4-6 capsules. In one dose, therefore, depending on your dosage, 330-495 mg of elemental magnesium will be hidden. Since the recommended daily dose of magnesium for adults ranges from 310 to 420 mg, this amount is quite sufficient. It should not be forgotten that magnesium is also abundant in the normal diet. For this reason, we consider it sufficient to take 4 capsules a day. In this case, one packet of this product will last you 25 days.
Excessively high price
The major, but in the subtext the only, negative of this supplement that we must emphasize is the high price. At the time of writing this review, one daily dose of four tablets per day comes out to almost 18 crowns.
That's roughly double the price for a single dose of the best magnesium on the market. While it is true that Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Magnesium boasts a really high quality and unique composition, such a price is still really high. The price/quality ratio is not the best for this reason. On the other hand, we understand that quality ingredients must be reflected in the high price of the final product.
Is Triple Magnesium worth trying?
In terms of composition and active ingredient content, we have nothing to fault Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Magnesium. It contains three excellent forms of magnesium and a really high amount of the active ingredient in one daily dose. However, the high price is, in my opinion, quite a major problem. Unless you don't mind paying extra for supplements, you don't have to worry about this aspect, of course, in which case I can definitely recommend buying this product. However, if you are primarily looking for a product with a good price/quality ratio, this is definitely not the right supplement for you. For a significantly lower price you can get a product of more or less comparable quality.
Our comparison of the best magnesium supplements will help you choose a good magnesium supplement. on the market, in which we took into account price and other important factors in addition to quality.
