Zinc is probably the most discussed trace element in the human body. This mineral is involved in countless processes in the human body, and although it is extreimportant, it is one of the most deficient minerals in the human body. Not only athletes, but absolutely anyone can benefit from its supplementation.
Therefore, in today's review, we will look at Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Zinc + Copper. In addition to the aforementioned zinc, this high-quality dietary supplement also contains copper, which is a key component of, for example, energy metabolism and other processes in the body. How satisfied were we with this supplement?
Content of the review
The Czech brand Golden Nature focuses on the production and sale of quality dietary supplements with a largem emphasis on pure ingredients without unnecessary additives and maximum possible effect. In the repertoire of this manufacturer you will find not only minerals but also vitamins, antioxidants, adaptogens and much more.
Flawless composition
As the name of this product suggests, we can find a total of three forms of zinc in it. Specifically, these are zinc bisglycinate, citrate, and gluconate. All three have in common a very good absorption rate, making this a great combination of extremely effective forms of zinc. However, there is also copper in the form of bisglycinate. The combination of zinc and copper is not accidental. Supplementation of zinc reduces the level of copper in the body. For this reason, it is important to supplement both substances at the same time, because otherwise the problems associated with copper deficiency in the body could become fully apparent. Copper is particularly important for the proper functioning of the nervous system and, together with iron, is involved in the formation of red blood cells.
One capsule contains a total of 30 mg of elemental zinc and 1 mg of elemental copper. This amount safely covers the entire recommended daily allowance of both minerals(8-11 mg of zinc and 900 mcg of copper). We therefore have absolutely no reservations about the composition as such or the quality of the individual ingredients.
How to take Triple Zinc + Copper?
Since one capsule is easily enough to cover the entire daily dose of zinc and copper, the manufacturer recommends taking one capsule per day. Since both minerals are also found in the regular diet, your total daily intake of these substances will be more than sufficient. One pack will therefore last you exactly 100 days, which is definitely a big plus. Zinc should be taken either with or after meals. This is because zinc taken on an empty stomach can cause stomach irritation in some people.
Higher price is not necessarily a problem
Compared to its competitors, Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Zinc + Copper doesn't fare very well in terms of price. At the time of writing this review, it comes out to about 3 crowns per daily dose. It must be said, however, that although you can find many quality products on the market for a third of the price, none of them contain zinc in three forms and quality copper on top of that. Moreover, given the low price of similar supplements, this price difference is not such a major problem. The price/quality ratio is therefore quite good, although we could probably find better alternatives in this respect.
Final summary
Golden Nature Exclusive Triple Zinc + Copper is a very high quality and good looking product that combines 3 highly absorbable forms of zinc together with equally usable copper. In terms of composition and content of active ingredients there is nothing to complain about and the only negative of this product is its higher price. Truth be told though, I don't think this is a major issue as the higher price tag is largely justified. However, if you are still looking for a cheaper alternative, you will have no problem finding a similar quality product at a third of the price.
