It is even more interesting that this protein comes from the milk of free-range cows from New Zealand.Vilgain relies on a pure and maximally functional formula. In second place are the gluten-free oat flakes - these are from Finland for a change, which, at least according to the manufacturers, gives them a unique taste and texture. In the coconut cream variant, which we had the opportunity to try, the ingredients also include grated coconut, cane sugar, coconut milk powder, ground vanilla and sea salt.
Incredibly easy to prepare
For those of you who don't have time or energy to spare in the morning, you'll be pleased to know that Minute porridge, as the name suggests, can be prepared in no time at all. Just weigh out 80 grams of porridge (or use the amount by eye if you do not strictly count calories) and pour 100 ml of hot water or milk over it. Then just stir well and let it sit for about a minute and then you can start eating your breakfast.
Great taste and consistency
Another benefit of this porridge is its great taste and incredibly creamy consistency. As soon as you prepare the porridge, you will notice the very smooth creamy consistency and the wonderful aroma that in the case of the coconut cream variant, of course, reflects the coconut and is reminiscent of the popular Raffaello sweets. Taste-wise, the porridge is really great, the taste of coconut is quite intense, but we didn't mind that in the least. It is completely natural and without any artificial aftertaste. What's also great about it is that it fills you up for a really long time. If you adjust your portion a little to your weight, we dare say you can easily last until lunch without feeling hungry.
How does Minute Porridge come out in terms of price?
At the time of writing this review, one 400 gram packet comes out to 179 crowns. This means that one serving comes out to just under 36 crowns. This price may seem relatively high at first glance, but when you prepare porridge like thisat home with high-quality protein, gluten-free oatmeal, coconut and other ingredients, you will actually get a very similar price. But what we find more interesting is that the porridge has only 5 dosesand that's only if you follow the recommended dosage. Of course, if you adjust your portion a little, it can be even less. For our part, we would definitely appreciate a larger packet that would last for at least two weeks of use.
