Today, we have the Zeblaze Vibe 3 HR smartwatch, which is very popular in Chinese stores and which you have been asking a lot about.
So I bought it recently on AliExpress for $30 and today we're going to take a look at it together.
Content of the review
Before I get into the Zeblaze watch review itself, let's talk about what we find in the package.
In it, besides the watch itself, we find a manual and a charging adapter. Anything else you would look for in vain, but we don't even need anything else.
Design and execution
The watch will offer a 1.22-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 240x240 px. This resolution on the display ensures a fairly fine image, and the display itself is protected by 4th generation Gorilla Glass. The display is also easy to read in direct sunlight, which is definitely important when moving outdoors. Unfortunately, the display is not touch-sensitive, because we would like that a lot in this price range. The watch is therefore controlled by buttons, where on the top left we have the power button, below it the buttonback button and on the right we find the buttons for switching the options, i.e. "up" and "down".
The watch itself has a sporty look, so the equipment and the weight, which is 72 grams, have been adapted to this. Alongside this, it also has a durable steel body, so the resistance to drops and shocks is at a great level. To really enjoy the sport to the fullest, the watch also offers IP67 certification, which means it's water resistant to 1m. We can't expect any deep diving, but if the watch gets wet, nothing will happen to it. Plus, we can even go swimming with it without worrying.
The watch offers three different types of dials, which you can change freely, for example, according to your mood. Switching between them is absolutely easy with the power button. You then have a choice of three watch colors, blue, red or black, which you see in this review.
Functions
The watch will offer countless features, let's take a look at them:
- From the watch face, we can use the top right button to get to "Steps", or steps. Here, the watch shows us how many steps we have walked so far today using the built-in pedometer.
- Calories burned, but I personally wouldn't rely on that too much.
- Number of kilometres walked.
- The heart rate monitor, which starts measuring immediately and takes about 10 seconds to calculate the heart rate.
- Sleep measurement
- Notifications, which we'll get to later.
- The sport function, and I'd like to stop there. When we hover over sport and press the power button, we can select the sport mode. We can choose between running, walking, climbing, cycling, ping pong, basketball, badminton and soccer. Each mode then shows us different values during the activity. For example, for walking it will be the number of steps walked, but for cycling it will be the number of calories burned, etc.
- Stopwatch. We start these again with the power button and reset them with the "up" button.
- Pairing the watch with your phone.
Pairing with phone
You need to install an app called WearHealth on your phone, where you register and use bluetooth to pair your phone. This app will give you a few more options.
First, you can set all the important things here, like the time format or the type of unit in the watch. You can also turn on notifications here, where whenever you receive a text or call, the watch will alert you with a vibration, so you don't have to worry about it starting to beep somewhere.
Another advantage is that if you pair the watch with your phone, you can use it to control your phone's camera. The way it works is that you shake the watch, or your hand, and the shutter countdown automatically starts. This feature is especially great for taking selfies.
Of course, Bluetooth 4.0 is also included so you can conveniently connect the watch to your phone.
Endurance and charging
The watch's battery offers a capacity of 180 mAh, which lasted me a week just fine. So you really only need to recharge the watch minimally.
It is charged using this charger that you will get already in the package. You simply attach the end of the charger to the watch and it snaps to the watch. Just be careful, if the charger won't attach, try twisting it so the magnets don't repel.
I then charged the watch from zero to a hundred in less than an hour and a half, which is not bad at all.
Price and where to buy
In this video, I tested the Vibe 3 HR version, which costs around $34, about or 30 euros. You can get it on both AliExpress and GearBest.
But if you'd like, you can also buy the regular version of the Vibe 3, which lacks the ability to switch dials and the heart rate monitor. It costs about $10 less, though, so I'd recommend you consider taking advantage of those features.

The Zeblaze Vibe 3 HR watch has a heck of a lot to offer. That's because for £700 you get water resistance, a heart rate monitor, long endurance and a whole host of other goodies.
So if you are looking for some cheap watches, ideally from Chinese stores like Gearbest or AliExpress, then this one will be the perfect choice. Just beware that they're all in English, but the text in them is really minimal.
