- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is the substance that is most abundant in this product (435g of MSM per 1kg of product). The designation MSM is not exact, it is only a commercial name. The more accurate name is dimethylsulfone, but as it is confused with the precursor of the substance itself (dimethylsulfoxide), the name has been changed commercially as such. It is a sulphur compound which has anti-inflammatory properties. It is recommended for joint problems, allergies and muscle pain. It has also been shown to improve wound healing when used after injuries. It also has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and vasodilating effects. The tolerance of this substance is described as very good and no adverse or toxic effects have been found.
- Glucosamine sulphate is a basic compound formed from glucose. It has a positive effect on pain or inflammation of tendons and joints. It can also stop the loss of joint cartilage that can occur in osteoporosis or arthritis. Glucosamine is available on the market in two bonds- sulfate (i.e. sulfate) and chloride. Efficacy in arthrosis has only been demonstrated for the sulphate, which is represented in this product. There are 348g of glucosamine sulphate per 1kg of ALAVIS™ Triple Blend Extra Strong.
- Chondroitin sulphate is the polysaccharide most abundant in the intercellular structures of cartilage. ALAVIS™ Triple Blend Extra Strong contains 130g of chondroitin per 1kg of product. The importance of chondroitin lies in its ability to bind water, thus ensuring the proper functioning, strength, flexibility and durability of cartilage. Like glucosamine, it can stop the loss of articular cartilage that occurs in arthritis and similar conditions. Chondroitin sulphate is obtained by extraction from bovine or porcine cartilage.
- Collyss is a proprietary blend of hydrolysed type I collagen derived from the cartilage of marine fish. It is found in connective cartilage, tendons, bone and skin. It is also essential for the overall strength of the musculoskeletal system.
- Cartidyss is a patented blend of hydrolysed type II collagen derived from ray cartilage. It is important for maintaining the shape of cartilage and protecting it from deformation.
In addition to these five active ingredients, ALAVIS™ Triple Blend Extra Strong also contains apple pectin. This offers a truly effective blend that contains no additives, colourings or preservatives.

The dosage of the product is based on your body weight. For 100kg athletes, one scoop is recommended for the first 14 days, after that only ½ scoop. The optimal duration of use is three months, after which the product should be discontinued for at least one month.
