A highly concentrated blend of natural fish oil and natural vitamin E. The ratio of EPA and DHA is higher in this product - 33/22. This product is more suitable for users of higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids who no longer want toThey do not want to take dozens of capsules a day, but need to get a lot of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
SOURCE OMEGA 3
Fish oil naturally contains omega 3 fatty acids (unsaturated), which the body cannot make. They are found mainly in oily fish. With our raw material, we pay particular attention to its origin and test for impurities and heavy metals (in the past, the independent organization dTest tested our product Omega 3 MAX, which passed with an A). The fatty acids EPA and DHA are involved in the regulation of various biological processes, such as inflammation or brain function. They can be synthesized in the body exclusively from alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), but to a very limited extent for most people.
EPA AND DHA (33/22)
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is an essential fatty acid, specifically an omega-3 fatty acid. Docosahexaenoic acid is also classified as an omega-3 fatty acid, which is a subgroup of the so-called essential unsaturated fatty acids. The main sources of EPA and DHA are fatty marine fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines) or their oil. However, marine fish do not synthesize EPA and DHA; in fact, it is synthesized by small plankton that feed on these fish. In the bodies of marine fish, EPA and DHA are concentrated in greater quantities because they are higher up the food chain.
VITAMIN E
Vitamin E is one of the most well-known antioxidants in the world. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal blood clotting. In our product it has one more representation - it works as an anti-lipid peroxidizing agent. Many fish oil supplements without Vitamin E may contain harmful lipid peroxides (oxidized lipids that can damage cells).
DIFFERENT RATIOS OF OMEGA 3
The most basic version of Omega 3 most commonly found on the market is the 18/12 ratio - this is the ratio of our Omega 3 MAX product. It can't be said that Supreme Omega 3 is better, it is just more concentrated and this means that if someone is taking more amounts of EPA and DHA, they will find it more enjoyable and reach their goal (EPA and DHA levels) more easily. There is also a 50/25 ratio coming to market which we do not recommend. If you look at a ratio of 18 to 12 or 33 to 22, there is not as much of an abysmal difference as with 50 to 25. In addition, the latter is for DHA, which is more important than EPA from our perspective.
The health benefits of unsaturated fatty acid intake cannot be overstated, as everyone knows by now. They have an impact on a plethora of physiological processes in the body. For countries where abundant fish consumption is not the norm, supplementation with Omega 3 is almost a necessity. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function (with an intake of at least 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day). DHA contributes to normal brain function (with an intake of at least 250 mg of DHA per day). There have been countless studies on the effects of EPA and DHA, with perhaps the most interesting results on triglyceride reduction (15-30% reduction, over 40 studies) and on the effect on mood in people with depression (over 20 studies).
