Micellar Casein - Micellar Casein offers a quality system with a gradual release of amino acids, thanks to the micelle form in which it is processed. Reflex Micellar Casein is made by ultrafiltration of milk protein - this process removes the milk sugar lactose and fat. The resulting raw material contains around 85% protein!
Based on a clinical study conducted by Dr. Yves Boire, the difference in metabolic availability tested between whey protein and micellar casein was over 7 hours. This result was very interesting and proved that the use of whey protein and micellarcasein has a completely different focus due to the length of absorption of amino acids and their availability. In other words, it means that micellar casein has a strong anticatabolic effect, i.e. it helps to protect muscle mass.
Micellar casein from Reflex Nutrition is an instant protein with a gradual release of amino acids in the form of micelles, which is produced from fresh, skimmed milk. Please do not confuse this micellar product with low quality caseinates, which are made from degraded proteins. The protein in micellar casein is complete and contains on average 80% micellar casein and 20% whey protein.

Milk protein concentrate 96% (of which 80% micellar casein, 20% native whey 3.5% cocoa powder (3.5%, chocolate flavour only), thickener carboxymethyl cellulose, colours: beta carotene (banana and vanilla flavors only), betanin (strawberry flavor, strawberry & cream), sweeteners (acesulfame-K, sucralose), potassium chloride, Bacillus Coagulans (Lactospore® complex), anti-caking agent silica.
