Smartlabs Micellar Casein is a unique protein product that consists of two ingredients, micellar casein and whey concentrate. Micellar casein is the main source of amino acids, calcium and phosphate, which are essential for muscle growth. The whey component also serves as a source of amino acids and also contains some bioactive and potentially health-promoting proteins such as immunoglobulins, proteins that are responsible for binding folic acid, an element essential for nucleic acid synthesis and blood formation, lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase and lysozyme.

In the course of the metabolism of micellar casein and whey protein components many new bioactive peptides (immunopeptides, casein phosphate peptides and others). The use of a combination of casein and whey protein offers significant nutritional and health benefits.
