The world'sfirst truly organic certified fish oil from Scandinavian rainbow trout. It is a premium fish oil that sets the bar for nutritional quality, taste, freshness, purity and environmental sustainability.
It contains essential fatty acids, very important substances for the body, but which the body cannot produce on its own. Careful production ensures that the oil captures the full spectrum of omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 as they occur naturally in nature. These substances are rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), whose effects and influence have been scientifically described and verified many times. They are related to the function of the brain, heart, circulatory system and many neurological processes.
Characteristics of the substances contained*:
*authorised health claims under EU Commission Regulation No. 1924/2006, the beneficial effect is achieved with an intake of 2 g of DHA per day, atand the supplementary intake of 5 g per day of the combination of EPA and DHA must not be exceeded
Gentle processing and its benefits
Conventional production of fish oils involves a very long, industry-intensive process that takes place within many countries. The fish are first caught in the ocean (which is itself polluted with many substances). This is followed by purification (refining), a long journey of crude oil by ship, deacidification, bleaching, removal of odour, trans-esterification, concentration (by molecular distillation), addition of antioxidants, bottling, and only then is the final product created. These processes cause the loss of some fatty acids or changes in their profiles.
Oil from the controlled environment of an inland river needs none of this. It does not undergo refining to remove contamination, and the rapid production and processing prevent oxidation that degrades the contents. The nutritional qualities, taste and environmental impact are therefore not at all comparable to conventional oils.
The production of Viridian oil is carried out in the following three steps:
Organic Scandinavian rainbow trout oil (97.5%), Organic orange and lemon oil and Organic rosemary extract (2.5%).
For pregnant and lactating women, use of the product is recommended after consulting a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It does not replace a balanced varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 3 months.
