Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in the form of lichen extract. The IU value indicates the amount of the active substance in the extract - Vitamin D3 with a value of 2000IU contains 1000% of the recommended daily dose of the vitamin, so it is sufficient to take one capsule per day.
The body produces this vitamin by transforming itself after exposure to sunlight. It can also be found in animal products, but the vitamin D3 in this supplement is derived from a vegan source - lichen. We usually suffer from vitamin D deficiency in winter, or all those who wearwho wear clothing that covers most of their body all year round, or the elderly.
