Each gelatin capsule contains vitamin E in a biologically active form. Vitamin E has a significant antioxidant effect, protecting the cells of our body againstoxidative stress, which is often linked to the development of aging. Oxidative stress of cells is the result of an imbalance of antioxidants and free radicals in the body. The imbalance can occur on either side.
It is recommended to take vitamin E in combination with selenium and vitamin C because together they effectively synergize. Selenium and vitamin C contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and vitamin C also regenerates the reduced form of vitamin E, which is highly desirable as part of their antioxidant effect. The beneficial effect of selenium and vitamin C is achieved when a significant amount - 15% of the recommended daily dose - is taken.
