Powerlogy relies on simplicity in its ingredients and it definitely pays off. In every scoop of their 100% collagen, you get just what you really need - hydrolyzed beef collagen. That way you avoid all the additives that are rather detrimental in most competing products. The absence of flavourings is probably not to everyone's taste. I admit that I didn't enjoy the unflavoured collagen much either. Fortunately, you can easily combine it with protein, for example, which easily overcomes its taste.

Final assessment:

Powerlogy Collagen is a beautiful example that you often don't have to add all sorts of additives to supplements to make it more. On the contrary. Pure collagen without any additives works absolutely great and there is nothing to fault it. Except maybe the unpleasant taste, which is definitely not nearly as pleasant as the manufacturer describes it. But this problem is easily solved, as I described above. Moreover, less than 20 crowns per dose is a pretty fair price, especially considering the quality of the product. In the end, I have no choice but to recommend Powerlogy's collagen to anyone looking for a really good quality food supplement at a good price.

Number two in our ranking is Collagen Beauty from GreenFood. It has won our favour mainly because of its very low price, which goes hand in hand with a very high quality formula. As with Powerlogy's collagen, you won't come across anything here that shouldn't be in a quality product.

GreenFood is a family-owned Czech company specializing in dietary supplements made from premium ingredients. The company prides itself on quality organic ingredients. This is one of the reasons why the company has earned its position as a trusted and reliable manufacturer in 25 years on the market.

The biggest disadvantage of collagen dietary supplements in capsule form is their low content of active ingredients. Unfortunately, Collagen Beauty is no exception, although it should be added that it actually does quite well compared to other supplements of this type. A big plus is the presence of vitamin C, which is indispensable in the body for the formation of collagen. The entire formula is housed in a vegetable capsule, which is another plus point for GreenFood.

Final assessment:

Although Collagen Beauty will hardly compete with most other products in terms of collagen content, it beats them in the price/quality ratio. A little over 8 crowns for a daily dose with such a formula is a really great price. In addition, for some, capsules may be a more pleasant form than powder or liquid variants. But it is true that if you are looking for the best possible composition and you don't mind paying a little extra for the quality, you will probably choose more from other products. On the other hand, for the person looking for a balance between price and quality, Collagen Beauty is the obvious choice.

Collagen Pulver from the German company Woldo Health is definitely among the best collagens on the market. It is a premium supplement derived from cattle grazing on Argentinian pastures and this product is even Halal certified. It is 100% bovine collagen that contains no additives and is naturally completely tasteless and odorless. Of course, it has undergone a hydrolysis process to have perfect absorbability.

• Universal use
• Gluten, lactose and sweetener free

Disadvantages:

• Unfortunately quite high price

Who makes it:
The German company behind this product is Woldo Health, but the collagen itself comes from Argentina. Woldo Health hails from Hamburg, Germany, and all products are constantly inspected and tested right here in Germany. In the company's repertoire you can find various vitamins, collagen, MCT oil, but alsoFor example, hair shampoos and many other products where quality is a top priority.

In one dose (10 grams) you will find:

As far as the ingredients are concerned, it is 100% bovine collagen and there is certainly nothing to fault. Since it is colorless and odorless, you can add it not only to water or smoothies, but feel free to add it to yogurt or wherever else you prefer. If you are not too fond of tasteless collagens, you can add it to your protein, for example, in which it completely disappears. If you don't mind unflavoured collagen, just mix it in water and drink it.

Final assessment:
Woldo Health's collagen offers a great formulation, has universal use and is a completely pure product that also has Halal certification. Its only drawback is its relatively high price, which will probably make many people change their minds about buying it. If the price of the supplement is not important to you and you want a truly high quality collagen, Collagen Pulver is a great choice. If you want a product with the best possible price/quality ratio, you might be better off looking around for another of the products in this ranking.

In fourth place in our ranking of the best collagen supplements is Marine Collagen from Allnature. As the name suggests, this product relies on a variant of fish collagen, just like GreenFood's collagen, for example. The main attraction of Marine Collagen is its price. However, it still retains a very decent quality of ingredients and definitely has a lot to offer.

Who makes it:

Allnature is another representative from a number of Czech brands operating in the dietary supplement market. The company seeks to destroy people's misconceptions that healthy foods can't taste good, and therefore only uses ingredients processed in a gentle way. It has been in the market since 2013 and has since then gained the trust of leading health food retailers in the country.

Marine collagen is administered in capsules, which adversely affects the content of collagen itself in one dose. This is really only a fraction of what is offered by Powerlogy, MuscleTech and others. On the other hand, we have to commend the vitamin C content here, as well as the vitamin B3. Both of them enhance the effects of collagen and thus at least partially compensate for its low content.

Final assessment:

Quite frankly, we can say that no one who cares only about quality will buy Marine Collagen. If you are looking for a product that is packed with collagen and you can expect maximum effects from it, your favorite will be Powerlogy, MuscleTech or BioTechUSA. But quality isn't everything. For a lot of people, the deciding factor is price, which in the case of Allnature is set really well. Six crowns for one daily dose is a great value for money that you just won't find anywhere. It is therefore probably clear that Marine Collagen is not for everyone. But you will definitely find your customer, because it offers a really solid formula even at a very low price.

The first half of our ranking is completed by Collagen from BioTechUSA. It had a great potential to rank higher, but it suffered from a few shortcomings that we could not close our eyes to. Otherwise, however, this is a very high quality collagen that outperforms its competition in many ways.

BioTechUSA is an American sports nutrition brand known worldwide. However, don't let its name fool you. All of the brand's products are made in the European Union, so they meet all of its strict quality criteria. The company is especially known for its excellent price/quality ratio and the outstanding taste of its products.

The ingredients of BioTechUSA Collagen look really good at first glance. We've got high collagen content, added vitamins C and E, and we also have 2 flavors to choose from. This option is definitely a big plus, because taste-wise it beats other manufacturers with ease. But it also takes its toll. While Powerlogy or MuscleTech pride themselves on being additive free, BioTechUSA can't say that. This is because it contains dyes with high harmfulness scores. While these are not present in any great quantity here, they could have been easily avoided.

Final assessment:

BioTechUSA's Collagen is one of the quality collagens that target especially demanding athletes. This is of course reflected in the price, which is less than 23 crowns per dose. For this amount, however, you get a high-quality collagen and, in addition, which, unlike most other products, also has a very good flavor. The downside is, of course, the harmful dyes. Otherwise, however, there is nothing to complain about this product and we have no choice but to highly recommend it.

Next up, we have Collagen Joint Care with Fortigel from Nutrisslim. This one got our attention mainly due to its interesting composition, which is largely out of line with what we see from other manufacturers. The source of the collagen here (similar to MuscleTech) is the patented FORTIGEL® blend.

Benefits:

• Ingredients free of harmful colorants and flavorings
• Contains vitamin C
• Enriched with MSM powder and rosehip extract

Disadvantages:

• High price
• Relatively low in collagen

Who makes it:

Nutrisslim is a native Slovenian company dedicated to producing the highest quality superfoods. It sources all of its ingredients directly from growers, giving it visibility into their origin and quality. The company strictly avoids the use of artificially processed ingredients and all its products are RAW and organic quality.

Nutrisslim's collagen is rich in additives, but at the same time it is also quite poor in collagen itself (compared to other products in this ecn category). While MSM powder does support the production of collagen in the body, this does not help to compensate for its low content. The vitamin C and other substances that are contained here, however, are at the expense of collagen.

Final assessment:

Nutrisslim's collagen is a very interesting product that will definitely find its fans. However, its high price combined with its low collagen content means that it is relatively low in our ranking. For less than 29 crowns you get about half the amount of collagen compared to Powerlogy. There is no need to go into further detail here. If you are looking for a product that gives you something extra besides collagen, even at the price of containing less active ingredients, you have just found your favourite.

In eighth position in our comparison of the best collagens on the market is MedPharma's Collagen. Its biggest advantage is its very low price, which is of course inversely proportional to the quality. Even so, MedPharma's Collagen is a very solid supplement that can be a gateway to collagen supplements for many people.

Who makes it:

MedPharma is a Czech family-owned company operating in the sports nutrition market since 2000. Its goal is to promote human health, which it achieves by developing its own dietary supplements, cosmetics and medical devices. Naturally, the company places great emphasis on quality, which is why all of its products are checked in accredited laboratories.

Unlike other collagen representatives, MedPharma's collagen capsules do not contain any added vitamins. Thus, apart from the collagen itself, the gelatine packaging and other components necessary for the production of the capsules are not found here. It should be noted, however, that even the collagen is not richly contained here.

Final assessment:

MedPharma's collagen is not a miracle, but nobody could expect it to be. From a supplement, one dose of which costs less than 3 crowns, we really can't expect a first-class composition and the best possible effects. But when we take the price into account, we have to admit that the composition of MedPharma is actually not bad at all. Thanks to its low price, it has the potential to attract even people who would otherwise not even consider buying collagen.

The next in line is Collagen Liquid from Scitec. As the name suggests, in this case it is collagen in liquid form. This form can bring a lot of benefits, however, it also comes with added substances that can do more harm than good. This is exactly the case here.

Who makes it:

Scitec is one of Europe's top sports nutrition companies. It is especially famous for its proteins, which it sells in record quantities. They are so committed to quality in this regard that they test their whey proteins extensively. However, it is also involved in the production of other supplements, including minerals, pre-workouts, joint nutrition and burners.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer of Collagen Liquid does not specify the source of the collagen used. However, its content is quite decent, so there is nothing to criticize in this regard. What deserves criticism, however, are the preservatives and sweeteners used. Of particular note is sodium cyclamate, which, for example, is completely banned in the USA. I firmly believe that supplements can also be sweetened with less harmful substances, which is why weI have no choice but to place Collagen Liquid almost at the very bottom of the list.

Final assessment:

In terms of collagen content, Collagen Liquid fares very well. The problem is the sweeteners used, which spoil the whole product. The price tag is not positive either. A little over 16 crowns per dose puts Scitec's collagen among the more expensive products. However, it cannot compete very well with them in terms of composition. The advantage, however, may be its liquid form, which will undoubtedly suit many people.

Our ranking is rounded off by Verisol Collagen from EnergyBody. What attracted us? In addition to collagen, it also contains a decent dose of vitamins and minerals. As with Scitec's collagen, it is a liquid product, which may be a deciding factor for many.

Who makes it:

EnergyBody is Europe's largest manufacturer of liquid supplements. The company's history dates back to the 1980s, when the Holzinger brothers started making the first products in their living room. Today, of course, all production takes place in specialised laboratories. EnergyBody focuses primarily on strength athletes, but its products can benefit athletes of all kinds.

Verisol Collagen is rich in vitamins and zinc, which is of course a big plus. But it might be even better if it were also rich in collagen. Its content cannot be compared to powdered preparations, which contain several times the amount of the active ingredient. What it can match is the price. This combination is not a happy one, which is exactly why Verisol Collagen finds itself at the very top of our ranking. On the other hand, we must once again praise the amount of vitamins and zinc that are contained enough to cover the recommended daily allowance for an adult.

Final assessment:

I think that everything important has been said in the previous paragraph. Verisol Collagen is a great dietary supplement in all respects. However, its biggest flaw is its low content of the most important substance. If it contained more collagen, paying the less than 20 crowns per dose would certainly be worth it and this product would be in a much higher position. Still, I can imagine that its composition will be a favourite for many people.

The next place in our ranking belongs to Collalloc marine collagen. It is a pure hydrolyzed collagen of types I, II and III from fish. Its main advantage is its exceptionally pure and high-quality composition, thanks to whichwe are able to forgive it for a slightly lower active ingredient content than we would consider ideal.

Who makes it:
Collalloc is a Czech brand of high-quality collagen. It is therefore not a classic manufacturer of sports supplements that most people are used to. In addition to the classic collagen, the brand also offers a concentrated version of Collalloc Nano and vitamin C to support the effect of the previous two products. Personally, I consider this a big plus, as brands focusing on only one specific product will understandably putcare much more about its quality than manufacturers who offer an extremely wide range.

When looking for a quality supplement, the purity of the ingredients is of course one of the key factors. Collalloc collagen contains absolutely nothing in addition to the active ingredient, which is very good news for the end customer. No sweeteners, dyes, stabilizers, nothing like that. Just pure collagen of the highest quality. Fish collagen contains types I, II and III, which together offer all the benefits you would expect from collagen. The content of the active ingredient is not exactly the highest and we certainly wouldn't be angry if the manufacturer was sparing with it.but given the quality and purity of the ingredients, it's really not something we could complain about any more.

Final assessment:
Collalloc Marine Collagen offers an exceptionally pure formula that pleases Anyone who cares about purity when buying supplements and doesn't mind paying a little extra for it. It is not the most expensive supplement on the list, but it is definitely not among the cheapest either. However, it has to be admitted that the price is ultimately more than fair, given the quality of workmanship. The resulting price/quality ratio is therefore excellent. Collalloc is therefore definitely worth a try.

Extrifit Gela is an obvious choice for someone who is looking for quality collagen but doesn't plan to spend too much money on it. The low price is undoubtedly its biggest advantage, and although only its composition can not the best productsm can compete with, thanks to its perfect price/quality ratio, it is quite possibly the best value option you can find.

Do we even need to introduce the Extrifit brand? In the Czech Republic, it is one of the largest and best-known manufacturers of sports supplements. Extrifit supplements are characterized by their supercharged formula, which meets the requirements of even the biggest exercisers. It is therefore no wonder that Extrifit enjoys support among so many strength athletes. As I wrote in my review of GreenFood's collagen, the products in capsule or tablet form are simply inferiorThey have the disadvantage of containing less active ingredients than their powdered counterparts. A thousand milligrams of collagen really isn't much compared to the competition. Moreover, they are much more likely to contain various stabilizers and dyes, which is unfortunately also the case with Extrifit Gel. We can find titanium dioxide, which is definitely not on the list of substances that a quality supplement should contain.

Final assessment:
Extrifit Gela benefits mainly from its low price. It should be treated as such. For a few crowns you really can't expect any great miracles. But if we are talking about value for money, this product does very well indeed. The composition does have a few flaws, but I imagine that it will be quite sufficient for many people. If you are looking for a solid collagen at the most affordable price, Extrifit Gela is the product for you.

Beauty Elixir Caviar Collagen from Fitness Authority is a bit out of the way that we are used to with most supplements. This product is primarily used to firm the skin and is essentially more of a cosmetic product. In fact, fish collagen combined with hyaluronic acid and other substances helps to reduce wrinkles, hydrate the skin and improve its elasticity.

• Very good formulation
• High active ingredient content

Disadvantages:

• Higher price

Who makes it:
Polish brand Fitness Authority is dedicated to developing and producing the most effective dietary supplements for athletes of all categories. The brand's motto is that if you take training really seriously, supplementation is essential in sports. It doesn't matter if you are an amateur cyclist, a recreational runner or a professional powerlifter. To achieve your goals, you need effective supplements made from the highest quality ingredients. You may have already come across Fitness Authority products in our ranking of the best peanut butters or in a separate review of the FA Xtreme Napalm pre-workout.

At the very first glance at the list of ingredients used, it is clear that Beauty Elixir Caviar Collagen is quite different from previous products. It is definitely not pure collagen without any added substances, which in itself may bother some people, while many people may appreciate it. However, it is important to say that there is nothing in the ingredients that is there unnecessarily or just for decoration. Of course, in the context of promoting healthy skin, we must mention the presence of hyaluronic acid, which hydrates the skin very effectively ("attracts" water to the skin). As for the collagen itself, we find Peptan®F collagen peptides. This internationally renowned brand is known above all for its high quality and the absence of any harmful additives.

Final assessment:
The fact that the product is primarily intended as a cosmetic product does not limit its health benefits. However, it is true that if you are looking for a supplement with collagen for the sake of deriving exercise-related benefits from it, some of the ingredients in the formula will be kind of useless to you. For that reason, it would make more sense for you to invest in a product in which you won't have to pay for similar ingredients. On the other hand, why not get as many possible health benefits in one product. Marine Collagen from Seagarden belongs to the group of collagens that rely on a completely pure composition without any additives. However, if you don't like the taste of the collagen, you can indulge in the flavoured version, which contains some flavourings, but in terms of quality it is easily equal to the unflavoured version.

Who makes it:
As the name implies, the Seagarden brand focuses on the production of marine dietary supplements. What do you mean by that? The company's flagship product is, of course, the highest quality marine collagen, but it also has cod protein, fish complex and other similar products in its repertoire. The high quality of each product is based primarily on sustainable fishing and the gentle processing of all products.

In one serving (5 grams) you will find:

Pure collagen without any additives. If the absolute purity of the ingredients is key for you, you will definitely find your way with Seagarden's collagen. Admittedly, we would have appreciated a slightly higher active ingredient content, but even less than 5 grams in a daily dose is definitely not a bad thing. The important thing is that the product is made from high quality ingredients. In fact, the Seagarden brand chooses the fish it uses in its supplements very carefully (they must always be wild-caught). In addition, the company makes sure that the fish is sustainably caught.

Final assessment:
The Seagarden brand relies on quality and environmental friendliness. If you keep these factors in mind when choosing supplements, you will definitely like its products. In terms of price per daily dose, Marine Collagen is somewhere in the average range. However, given the high quality of the product, the average price is actually a big plus and the resulting value for money is therefore really excellent. It is true, however, that if you are only interested in the ingredients and the price, and you do not care much about any manufacturing considerations, the product will lose a bit of its charm. Nevertheless, it is a very good choice in the collagen supplement market.

Raw Beauty Collagen Glow from Amazonia boasts a sophisticated formula, which, in addition to high-quality marine collagen, includes sea buckthorn or Jerusalem artichoke. However, the whole impression of the composition is somewhat spoiled by the fact that the manufacturer does not provide information about the fact that it is hydrolysed collagen. Non-hydrolyzed collagen is much less usable by the body and therefore logically offers fewer health benefits.

Who makes it:
Australian brand Amazonia isn't just any ordinary supplement manufacturer. All Amazonia products are ACO (Australian Certified Organic) certified and, with the exception of collagen, are also suitable for vegans. Amazonia also prides itself on the fact that all of its production is in a sustainable way to ensure maximum environmental friendliness.

The first thing we must address is, of course, the form of collagen used. As I wrote in the introduction, nowhere does the manufacturer state that its product contains hydrolyzed collagen. However, non-hydrolyzed collagen is much less usable by the human body and certainly cannot be compared to collagen peptides. On the other hand, we must praise the presence of sea buckthorn, which is an excellent source of vitamin C, which contributes to the normal formation of collagen in the body. Artichoke, on the other hand, promotes proper digestion, as it is a very good prebiotic.

Final assessment:
Raw Beauty Collagen Glow is a product that evokes quite mixed feelings in people. We must praise the gentle processing and the very well thought-out composition. However, in the same breath, we must also mention the negatives in the form of the poor form of collagen and the relatively high price. For this reason, the product gives a rather strange impression in the end. This is also why we have decided to place it roughly in the middle of our ranking.

An affordable option for anyone looking for quality collagen at an affordable price is Collagen 3000 from Essence Nutrition. Unlike most other products, it is a bovine collagen, which is actually quite a disadvantage. However, this shortcoming is compensated by the low price, which is the main attraction in this case.

Hydrolysed bovine collagen can offer a multitude of health benefitsbut in most respects it cannot match marine collagen. If the manufacturer decided to rely on this form of the active substance, it could at least compensate for its inferior properties with a higher content. But three grams in one daily dose is not a miracle. For the proportions of collagen in capsules, it's still quite decent, however. compared to the best products on the market, it's still quite a disadvantage.

Final assessment:
In my opinion, the slight criticism of the composition is quite reliably compensated by the low price. Collagen 3000 from Essence Nutrition is one of the cheaper products, and thus it is also suitable for students or anyone who does not want to spend too much money on supplements. It may also appeal to those who prefer supplements in capsule form, as they are easy to dose and do not have an unpleasant taste or smell.

Inca Collagen is a product created for really demanding customers. Its greatest advantage is its extremely pure composition and perfect bioavailability. However, high quality goes hand in hand with high price. Inca Collagen is by far the most expensive product in the ranking and this is naturally reflected in the final price/quality ratio.

If you are a fan of products with absolutely pure ingredients, you will definitely like Inca Collagen. The individual doses are divided into small sachets, which you simply open and mix the contents in water or another beverage. As for the amount of collagen itself, we're looking at a total of a common three grams per dose. That's not a disaster, of course, but given the high price, we would still appreciate a little more of the active ingredient in one daily dose.
